It's a very small, unassuming place with limited seating but the service is good and so if the food! I went for breakfast and really enjoyed my french toast, scrambled eggs, and beef bacon everything was delicious! Honestly, better than I expected! Don't judge a book by its cover! Sorry there's no photos or videos, I was starving and had to eat before the camera this time

Had a really good breakfast platter of french toast, cheese eggs, and beef bacon. Everything was made to order. The French toast was really good, it was thicker and more flavorful than expected and the beef bacon was cooked perfectly. It came with about 6 pieces. Also had an order of hot wings which were fried to perfection and tossed in a tangy sauce.10/10They accept applepay

Upon walking in, we were greeted (a glance and a slight nod) by 2 old men behind a diner counter that was basically just one small table away from the door's "clearance." So imagine walking into a very WIDE room with a diner countertop in front, but with such narrow sides that only a table of two with 2 chairs each fits on each side. This threw me off a bit but here we were. I wish had better things to say, but I simply can't. The place looked dingy and a bit dirty, rundown and dusty. We were in a hurry and I think my husband just immediately didn't want anything upon seeing the place (he said he wasn't too hungry but, I know my husband). I ordered the lentil soup that was priced $5.50 on the menu. I asked for some kind of bread with it and one of the men asked me what kind of toast. I know I should have skipped it in that moment for a few reasons but I simply muttered back, "whole wheat, please." The soup came in a plastic bowl accompanied by a plastic spoon. It was straight up canned soup 100%. I had about 3-5 slurps and didn't touch the toast. Why, might you ask? I saw the other old man behind the counter handle the bread without any gloves. I'm sorry if that seems pretentious to some, but for me, it's a must. And of course seeing it just makes it that much worse. Made me think this is a common occurrence around this establishment. In the end, the bill came to $7.50. For a few spoonfuls of soup. La, Shukran. No, Thank You.

Halal Food at a reasonable price. A classic New Jersey grab and go eatery for the working class.

Good photography is amazing. This diner is smaller than indicated in photos, but I must say I loved the old time diner feel with real food. We order a pancake platter with eggs and turkey bacon, grits on the side, salmon cake with grits, a Belgian waffle and chicken soup. All were delicious. I would definitely go back when I'm in Elizabeth again.
