i am a mamasushi enthusiast but i’ve never been to this location before. Our server seemed to be rushing us to order since we sat down. we arrived at 8 and our host failed to let us know that their hours online are outdated and they close at 9. The bathrooms are inadequate compared to NYC locations. No hot water, No paper towels, No toilet paper, and lacked cleanliness.We drove two hours to celebrate a birthday and was very disappointed, the atmosphere was very dead and low energy. The employees were unapologetic for the obvious dissatisfaction at our table. Food was good although server etiquette was lacking.

Pros - sushi is good. Drinks are OK. Great spot for a good price.Cons. The customer service could be a lot better . One thing I notice is when I come here dressed as an executive I get way better service vs I’m wearing street clothes. It’s 2023 let’s not put bias on clients especially those who eat here all the time . Also drinks take forever to be served ; the best waiter there is the male Colombian dude he does a great job . All the other female waitresses do a bad job. But the food is good and parking is accessible . Honestly it’s a great restaurant I just feel it needs a bar to sit down and watch sports . Otherwise good spot to go on a cheap date for good quality food

I went with my sister and nieces for my mom's birthday. We were there for 2 hours mostly waiting on our food. By the time we left, my sister and one niece hadn't even been served. They gave my sister the wrong food to take home and my niece's order was never placed to begin with.The food was ok, but the service was horrific. Shame because I was super excited to try this place. Never going back, and definitely do not recommend.

I took my mom to Mamasushi in Elizabeth for a Birthday lunch/meal and this place has the worst service. They bought out my mom’s food my brother’s and one of my daughter’s food yet my youngest daughter nothing nor mine. My mom’s dish was half served it was missing the rice and the soup. I spent 248.00 on the worst service I ever had. I am ashamed to even know that this place is owned by a Dominican. What a theft. I didn’t even get what I order.Vegetarian options: A hot mess they added crab meat.

I've been wanting to go to Mamasushi since they opened years ago. Finally went for a birthday lunch and it was shocking. There was no bartender, we waited over 30 mins to be served drinks. Appetizers arrived and then we waited for an hour for entrees. 2 orders never showed up and the hot food was cold. Taking what we ordered to go we find out one of the orders was never put in and later found out there other order was given to us incorrectly. With good leadership this restaurant could be good, but as it is, it's a literal waste of time. Tienen mucho que mejorar.

Ughhh so decided to come here for my anniversary and I should of just drove into the city during UN WEEK instead of coming here .... It's very how do u say underwhelming... first of all I drove right by this place ... we walk in 6 pm on a Monday there's no one in here... the music is loud I felt like i was at a bad bunny concert... the menu is very different . The decor is nice but not as "fancy" as I expected.. The neighborhood is not the best of neighborhoods The sangria taste like spiked juice They charge 18% tip on tabs over 100 dollars or parties of 6 or more The beer was expired Just not a place to rave about One time is fine with me I have attached pics of the menu and some of the food we ordered

This was a stumble and so happy I was able to come here... it was after an unsuccessful ikea trip, I got hungry. There is nothing around but this seems to be a popular area .... Good food! Good music!

Come here always for the same dish and same drink.... Today would probably be my last, besides the terrible gnat problem They have I ordered shrimp tempura sushi roll which wasn't fresh I continued to eat because I haven't eaten all day And thought maybe I was overthinking It.: as I sniff all around It smelled like the plate the sushi came on was saturated in soap... this would all make sense or be understood if I wasn't the only person in the entire restaurant that had to be served... the drink was mostly ice... the bill was cheap so that wasn't my concern I just think the customer service is super lazy and they could of tried to fix the problem or ask how they could fix the problem.

The appetizers and drinks were good but the sushi was dry and not comparable to the dominican sushis with sweet plantain.
The food was delicious and the service was great. The host was also so nice and welcoming

Well the food alway good the drink as well but the service not happy it … I love to do great tip sometimes more then regular because I live from tips and is all about the service. but the service wasn’t good special in this location never had bad service in other location the service wasn’t there from the entrance to the server. I think that seen they know the tip will be there why do extra… Other then that food and drinks delicious…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
