Amazing Japanese supplier for home deliveries. I ordered uni, salmon, tuna, ikura, scallops, unagi, wasabi etc and they're always fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable and occasionally they have sales around holiday times. The delivery dates are accurate -- they deliver to my neighborhood twice a week so plan accordingly especially with pre order items coming directly from Japan. The packaging is impeccable with lots of ice to keep it fresh. The delivery person hand delivers it and handles the package with care. It's amazing that they now deliver to home due to covid ! I can get my hands on high quality uni, toro , wagyu, and many many Japanese fresh ingredients! Boy ! I'm in heaven ! I don't miss the NYC restaurant life any more ! I can have all of that Japanese goodies at the comfort of my home !! I feel super safe and well fed !!! LOLLL their packaging was impeccably perfect and nothing to complain! Placed order on Sunday and received it on Thursday !! My family is super pleased and happy about True World Foods!! I wish they would continue the good service and great quality of ingredients even AFTER the pandemic !!

I have done business with this company for 8 years. If I ran my business like they do I would have no business. First off John Mingalone is the worst sales I have ever had. Getting a consistent product is an issue. There is never anyone there to talk to you about any issues. I have never gotten a straight answer. Here is my latest issue. THEY made a mistake on my order. They put ginger on the truck instead of 10K of brown sesame seeds. I asked them to to send it he next delivery day which was 4 days away. I was told yes. Then I get a call and they tell me that they won't ship it because it does not meet the minimum. But wait it was their fault to begin with. And I was promised the week before that they would. The best part is that every time I complain no one does anything there. They blame other people. But these other people never call you back. It took the transportation manager a month to call me back after I called and left 7 messages. I am currently looking for a new supplier.
