One of the most outstanding restaurants I’ve ever been to. I ate here yesterday morning with my girlfriend and this place is clean, the staff is very friendly and the service is amazing, but more importantly the food is 5 stars. We started off with the salt cod croquettes and a pitcher of delicious home made sangria. As for our entrees we ordered the flounder fish and chips and the Charlie Baltimore crab cake sandwich. Their bossa sauce is creamy and spicy and goes good with anything that you put it on so you already know I had to order extra sauce. The owner was very nice and checked up on us a few times and even offered us a coffee on the way out. If you are looking for a phenomenal seafood restaurant with a nice ambiance and outdoor seating then this is the place to go, please check it out.

My first time in Elizabeth Township in NJ. The ambiance gives me a farmer’s market from the sea to your plate vibe. Well lighted, casual and cozy atmosphere. The service was quick with an easy friendly vibe. Food has big servings , flavorful and fresh. The lemonade was too sour though. And i can tell parking may be a problem. Other than that.. I enjoyed this restaurant.

I had the Charlie Baltimore Crab Cake Sandwich for lunch today paired with a Composition IPA and it was delicious. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful as I was alone. I Googled this last from my motel and it was an immediate lock for lunch today. Easy walk over from the hotel row. I want to go back tomorrow and order something else.

I got the Crab Cake Sandwich. It was delicious! Crab Cake was meaty. I don't know what they used to hold it all together because I didn't taste a lot of dough. It was the perfect size under the bun. I was worried it would be more bun than Crab Cake.Picadinho was ok. Hubby loved it, just not enough shrimps for a seafood place. I think he only got 5... it was mostly pork and potato. I do like the sauce, heheheThe calamari was the best!!! They were so tender, not chewy at all. The marinara was very good. It didn't cause acid refluxI was sad that the fish store inside was closed at 5:30pm. It would have been great to be able to buy a fresh fish and have it cooked in store. It's a small corner store. There were just a few tables inside and more outside.

Bossa Fish is a reason to travel to the area close to Newark Airport. The restaurant offers surprisingly good seafood. We enjoyed the Crab Cake Sandwich and the Fried Shrimp & Fish Platter. The portions are generous. They have beer and wine (and a limited number of spirits) which was unexpected. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering ordering suggestions and checking on us frequently. We will return!

I read about this place on the top 10 places for seafood near me. Let me tell you this place lived up to the hype. The staff was super friendly and very informative. We ordered a little of everything to get the best of our experience. The pics won't even do the food justice. The flavors were impeccable great portions enough for leftovers for sure. We ordered 1/2 pitcher of white sangria and it was so amazing y'all gotta try it. Overall the food and service was top notch we will be coming back to try other things in there menu.

It's a simple but beautiful place out on its own in Elizabeth. Don't let the surroundings fool you. Simple and great decor.. something like good old traditional food with warmth from the people and in enjoying the food. Clean surrounding and bathrooms.

I'm confused. The fried fish was definitely processed. But they sell raw fresh fish on the premises. Perhaps I'll try something that isn't fried next time. The jury is still out.
