I do not hesitate to ask about the various sausages hanging over the counter or the assortment of dishes in the cooler. I have never had anything I didn't like here, though we love the pierogi's, especially the sauerkraut and mushroom, the kielbasa and kolbanosi, and the cabbage rolls (golumbki, halupki, Toltott Kaposzta etc..). “We visited Andrea Salumeria as part of a food tour and we had a great experience. Pete, the owner, is super nice and you can really see his passion for his business. We were given a very generous portion of the Soprano sandwich, which was fantastic. I am definitely coming back for this sandwich. It was so good, the bread was soft, the house made mozzarella was rich and moist. Best of all, was their roasted peppers! It was so good we went back after the tour to buy a container of it to take home. We also came back to buy one of the panettone, which Pete sells at a very reasonable price. Honestly, way more reasonable than a lot of the shops I used to go to in Bay Ridge.
