Out with friends who made a reservation here before the theater. Definitely a fantastic choice. We shared a seafood salad that was loaded with tons of seafood and had a fantastic flavor. For dinner Sandra had the half duck special. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I had spaghetti with tuna special that was light and delicious. Our friends had the linguine with clams and a chicken special. Both said the loved their choices and they were delicious. The service was excellent and friendly and the prices and fair to high. Overall a pleasant experience and I will say we will definitely return. Enjoy

We chose the restaurant due to its proximity to NYC as some of our party was coming in from midtown. And what a pleasant surprise for all of us. the service is impeccable and the food was delicious and well prepared and seasoned. From the owner's hospitality to the waiter to the bus boy, all the staff were well dressed and respectful and attentive. We ordered seafood, pasta and steak and veal dishes and they were all perfectly cooked. the atmosphere is welcoming and like being at home. I recommend you visit when you find yourself in the neighborhood - you wont be disappointed.

Cafe Italiano is a top notch restaurant with great food and awesome service. I have been coming here for a few years and this place never disappoints. When you walk in through the front door you're greeted by the best of the best . You truly feel you're with family , all of the staff and owner are truly the best . Some of the best food I've had, with great service.
overall food was fair, but ordered the snapper that was swimming in balsamic vinegar sauce. I told the waiter. This was unacceptable and was told that was on the menu and refused to credit the bill. I did not even take a bite of my food. This is very disappointing.

Pasta is excellent here. Had the pappardelle and it was amazing. They also made my friend a veal Milanese which was not a special on the menu. Very accommodating and great service. Calamari was good, light and crispy. Clams were small but delicious. Restaurant has a great ambiance and feel to it too!
