There's an axiom that you get what you pay for. It isn't always true. But in Grissini's it is. It is pricey but service is impeccable. Very attentive without being overbearing. Salads are perfectly dressed, seasoned and fresh. My special of morels with fettuccine in a veal stock with a touch of vermouth was out of this world. My wife's vegan and her vegetables in garlic and olive oil were perfect. And entrees, as always, were served hot. Eating here is a true dining experience.

This place is a gem. Perfect for a date night. My husband and I went here on a Saturday night. He had the risotto and I had stuffed chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the trip. Service was pleasant and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

It starts with great service. Then the well crafted cocktails are fabulous. As much as my wife & I say that we are only going to have an entree , we just can't pass up the creative & great tasting appetizers! The entrees are fresh , healthy , and delicious! My wife had paglia e fieno and I had the swordfish livornaise both were wonderful ! Always spot on ! Ask for Mike the Maitre'd. He's the best !

We had a lovely dinner at Grissini! The food was excellent! Service was a bit spotty. I had to continue to get my waitress to come to our table and check in on us. Inspite of that we will absolutely go back again!!

Pretty mediocre, everything from the bread to the very smallest portion of linguine w/clams that wasn't al dente but simply undercooked. Went during lunch and staff was too busy setting up for dinner rather than attending to us.

The food was delicious, the service impeccable. As far as ambience, very nice as long as you're not offended that they play FOX not NEWS!

Always a pleasure dining at Grissini restaurant. The staff makes you feel at home and the food is always tasty and fresh. A special thanks to the hostess Michelle for always welcoming my family and I with a big smile on her face.

This restaurant is one of our favorites, and we are never disappointed. Food is freshly prepared, served hot and as ordered. It is pricey but this is one of those instances where you get what you pay for. And as always a big thanks to George for looking after us.

Lived in Bergen County my entire life and always passed by Grissini's on 9W on my way to city wondering if it was good. Finally grabbed the wife and went and I'm glad we did. Rustic, warm interior with a sense that everyone there knows each other (in a good way!). We were seated at a table and two mins later the hostess came by and said "you mentioned this is first time here, a more romantic table opened up, may i move you?" What a wonderful gesture. Sitting cady-corner to my wife, we had small talk with the two couples next to us and they were both regulars at Grissini's. They made suggestions and provided just good vibes that you don't typically get in North Jersey restaurants. The food was stellar. Some of the things we loved: - The music in the background was perfect. Not distracting but all hits that set the mood. - Meatballs are a must, along with the burrata. - Wife got tuna tartar and seafood salad. She said they were some of the best she had (and trust me, she's had them all) - I had chicken parm. It was VERY good, but i must say I was jealous of the veal parm my neighbor got, which i will get instead next time. No complaints. Victor, our server, was attentive, kind and clearly enjoyed working at Grissini's. Highly recommend!

We had a great meal, everything was perfectly seasoned, cooked, and service was excellent. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was the appetizer portion sizes were so tiny that they were difficult to share. And they sat us right across from the kitchen, so it was quite loud and tons of people back and forth. Otherwise the food was fantastic, and the octopus appetizer is must have.Parking: They have fantastic valets

I had high expectations for the food, but unfortunately, it fell short of being truly delicious. The quality of the food was just average, nothing exceptional. On a positive note, the service was commendable. However, personally, I do not plan on returning to this establishment.

The food was excellent including an impressive list of appetizer and entree specials. Our server was exceptional, checking in to see if we needed anything during the course of our meal. The valet parking was a nice touch.

Four of us had an early Sunday dinner and it was fabulous. Starting with the bread which had a great crust but soft inside. We had Eggplant Rollantini, Ravioli, Lasagna, "Sunday Gravy"special, and the Shrimp with white wine. We all loved our dishes. We have lived in the area for over 35 years but this was our first time here. It is now on our short list for a go to, special occasions meal. All the dishes came out hot and even the plates were warm. Nice size portions, so some take home too leftover. They say you get what you pay for, but this place really delivers.
