Even though this is under new ownership, blue moon just doesn't seem to get any better. Yes, they redid the inside but it's still really the same place. The Mexican side has a full staff of inexperienced waiters and bartenders. There is no atmosphere because they don't talk to you and, it's sort of like being in a diner. The food is mediocre and the prices have gone up especially on drinks. We were charged an extra nine dollars for martini and $.50 just for a splash of seltzer in my vodka. Absolutely totally disappointing. The bathrooms are filthy and I really don't ever wanna go back there again The only thing I will say is that the sushi lounge area is nice and quiet but the sushi is just OK

The new restaurant is so nice. Great atmosphere to go with delicious food. And if you feel like a burrito, they have a Mexican restaurant on the other side.

Everything was ok. Service was ok, food was ok, ambience was nice. There's 2 different sides-Mexican and Japanese but you could ask for the opposing menus if you'd like which is nice. We started off with the zucchini nachos which were ok, I loved the concept of more veggies but it lacked flavor. For my entree I ordered the baja chicken tacos which had nice flavor and the tortillas were pretty tasty on its own but it was lacking heat. The refried beans were good but the rice could've been better. The molten lava cake was tasty and rich, churros were ok.

Good service. Terrible food and drinks. Nothing is home made, not even the guacamole. The sour cream was the best part of the meal.

It was really difficult to find the place. We were right near, but couldn’t find it because no building number and/or restaurant name. We called up, but it was still hard. Finally, staff came out to meet us. This place has just moved two weeks ago and the sign says something else. The atmosphere is bright and nice since all Japanese restaurants are dark inside. The food is good and fish was fresh, but my husband didn’t like the salad dressing because it was sweet. The check was surprise. I knew when I saw the menu, but way expensive. Other places offer the similar kind of food, but not that expensive. We will not go back. P. S. We had vegetable tempura appetizers, deluxe sashimi and sushi for two besides the salad.

I have been coming here since it was blue moon and for over 10 years i have been a customer of theirs. Their food is amazing, service is top notch and now that they have re-done the interior it is stunning!! I have never heard of Japanese/Mexican but i am excited to try to Japanese side of it! Mexican is always a top 3 for me.

I was here with my friend a few weeks ago and then realized they had a separate building for the Japanese food versus Mexican food and it was cold and we were here so decided to try their Mexican side of the menu. I tried their chilli, it tasted like canned beans and tortilla chips. The 2 stars only because I haven't tried the Japanese food yet but no not going back. It's also hard to find paring and not worth all that effort

THE BEST EMPANADAS IVE EVER HAD! You must try the brisket empanadas they are to die for. And also their chili is very good. My boyfriend always get the steak fajitas which he never has a complaint about. And his dad always gets the buffalo burrito. We love this place!!!

There was a great joint at this location called blue Moon. The sign outside still has the old name. The place has nice decor and is large. Large bar. Large drinks menu too. The food is Tex Mex. It was bleh. Needs more work. On Sunday brunch the place was pretty empty. The service staff were clearly bored. They were overall friendly
