One star and I haven't even cut cake till 1pm this afternoon. Here's the problem I hope everyone will consider when ordering a special event cake #1 : The cupcake shops are supposed to order specialty cakes if you want to pick it up on Ridgewood. The girls that work there have to check w the mother ship on everything in Nanuet NY. Annoying train your help accordingly period ! #2 I ordered a sheet style cake and was denied having these flowers told they couldn't put them on the cake I ordered.A true artist never says NO WHEN A CUSTOMER SAYS MONEY IS NO OBJECT ITS A 90th bday for my husbands mom.. The amount of avenues to find these flowers is endless w the internet #3 They told me they were going to put a white choc plate with the H90 BD MOM NANNIE THIS CAKE IS 11x16 & they put a piece of choc that is no bigger that a business card. So to have it even partially right b4 I decorate this cake myself I had to go all the way to Nanuet to get a proper sash that I'm my opinion is nothing still compared to what this will look like when I'm done. THIS IS NO FLY BY NIGHT BAKERY !! The idea that anyone thought sending a cake out this size w a business card size piece of choc for the writing in disgraceful & insulting. I still had to go 40min away to partially fix it & there was no offer of monetary compensation for all of their mistakes and my inconvenience The customer service alone is why I'm telling all of you make sure that you Check everything single thing you want f from this bakery that's obviously to big for its britches. COMMON SENSE COST NOTHING WHAT THEY FOUND Appropriate for the size of the cake I ordered means they have no common sense so make sure you exercise yours because I assumed i bakery of their caliber had it together & knew better. When you assume you make an ASS of U & ME. The decorated cake is all me not the bakery .except that sash I had to drive 40 min to get that so a 90 year old woman could read it !

These r the best cupcakes in the World. I love s fresh flavored cupcake. I was Introduce to Carousel many moons ago through Groupon. I use to live close now I live an hour away and I will only come here when I need my #Cupcakefix! Best

Amazing!!!! Tried the flavor of the month cupcake "Nutella". Also "Elvis" (chocolate Peanut butter and banana filling) Yumm also tried Hostess cupcake and WOW. I love the fact they aren't so sugary!! Will be ordering a 1/2 sheet Red Velvet cake for an upcoming birthday celebration! Can't wait to try and stay tune for that review ??

Cupcakes were expensive but worth it to splurge for a special occasion! My favorite was the red velvet, which was very moist and had a thick, satisfying cream cheese icing. I called ahead a few days in advanced for 3 dozen and they had no problem filling the order. I pre-paid by phone and picked up in store. Although if you want customization, such as words on top, you need to order ahead sooner.

My friend from Bergenfield brought me here after a disastrous vanilla cupcake at Zai's Dessertery. I lost all faith in vanilla cupcakes after making myself throw it up, until I had a Tie Dye at Cupcakes By Carousel. It was absolutely delicious, fresh and beautifully decorated!!! The service was pleasant and I will be coming back!!!

I brought my daughter there to by cupcakes for her birthday. They ae racist a rude. They refused to serve us twice. Telling us they don’t take 100$ dollar bills, and they said cash only. Two times they turned us away. Never going back!
