We went to Fontana Di Trevi for our anniversary, and the service was great. They were very attentive and periodically checked in on us. We ordered a pitcher of the ‘Full of Grape' and the mussels appetizer from the Chef's Special. Both tasted great and the appetizer had generous portions. Unfortunately, we found the entrees to be just ok, nothing really remarkable considering the meal started off with a great drink and appetizer. We ordered the jumbo shrimp and chicken scarpariello. At the end of the meal we asked for our check but they surprised us with a complimentary panna cotta dessert which was delicious. The place is small and would have been nice for a romantic anniversary dinner date except it got too loud when the restaurant started to fill up which made it difficult to carry out a conversation without competing with the noise of other guests talking. I would give this place another try and perhaps ordering something else from their menu would improve my opinion of the place. The service is really exceptional and would be the main reason I would try coming back.

Whenever they visit downtown Englewood, their favorite restaurant is Fontana de Trevi, which features delicious traditional Italian food with a modern twist.They have been there numerous times and everything they order comes out perfect. Some of their favorite dishes include Linguini Seafood, Mezi-Rigatoni, Chicken Saltimbocca, Cold Seafood Salad, Pear Salad, and their famous raspberry panna cotta dessert. BYOB is a great plus, considering there is a liquor store just two doors down. The restaurant is decorated with elegance and romance. The cozy atmosphere reminds me of the small boutique restaurants all across Italy. The service is beyond excellent especially by Isidro, who is a true gentleman and extremely attentive.

We were four women taking a friend out for a birthday lunch. We ordered fried calamari for the table and it came with a nice addition of fried zucchini. Two of us ordered eggplant parmigana, one a tilapia entree which arrived with generous sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli, and another ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich, which was stacked high with extras and included a plate of french fries. The food was delicious. I had brought a birthday cake along and the servers arrived at dessert with candles lit, a song, and later individual servings on plates with "Happy B" written in raspberry sauce. Fontana di Trevi made my friend's birthday a delightful occasion. I would go back in a heartbeat.

The food is excellent (and I’m picky), as is the service. Restaurant got a bad rap because they foolishly did not offer tap water for a brief period, but they learned their lesson…they now do. Neighborhood gem. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was awesome. The portions are huge! The entire staff is amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. My wife, kids, and I had a very enjoyable experience. This place is worth coming to eat at. I can't wait to come back. (It's that good.)Parking: Metered street parking. Ends at 6pm.

The food and staff were amazing! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Great for date night and family night. I was there with my 10 year old boys and husband....and we all enjoyed the establishment. Thank you for a wonderful dinner.
This is one of the BEST restaurants we've been to. From the minute you walk in the service is great. We've been here five times and every meal has been delicious. Recommend the pappardelle with short ribs, chicken and veal parmigiana and whole branzino. This is truly a gem!!!

Authentic Italian cuisine with quaint, elegant ambiance! Our waiter, Isidro, was outstanding! Excellent customer service and recommendations! Ordered the homemade mushroom ravioli with a light shiitake mushroom sauce! My Mom ordered fettuccine alfredo. The pasta was perfect - al denté. The panna cotta is a must try for dessert! The perfect balance of sweetness - not too sweet, just right! Highly recommend Fontana Di Trevi! Ask for Isidro, the waiter. Mangia!
