Superior in every way: impeccable food, gracious and knowledgeable servers, warm and inviting atmosphere. The simple things stood out: the bread, olive oil, original and authentic flavors. Black truffles shaved over delicate ravioli. Veal chop with sautéed peppers and onion. Swoon worthy grilled swordfish. Delicate Dover Sole presented before plating. Meltingly tender meatballs. And those were just a few of the specials. Next time, I'll try the house menu options.

The BEST Italian restaurant in the area hands down! The "specials" menu is unbeatable and always features delightful surprises! The dishes are always delicious and especially fresh. Owners Elvis and Natasha always welcome us with warmth and the utmost hospitality! Servers are fantastic as well. Carpaccio is truly our favorite restaurant.

As others have noted, the restaurant is extremely cagey on the pricing, we were charged $78 and $68 for two middling fish dishes. Not to mention, there were $36 very middling pastas... The service was poor- waiters hovering and chatting together loudly, having to be asked nonetheless to fill up the water glasses. Put the bill on the table without being asked. Here is the most basic italian food dressed up as jersey chic. Avoid.

I have never done this before. But do not go to this restaurant the people working there are nice and that is where it ends. The food is way overpriced and nothing that special. A meatball appetizer had two meatballs, good sized, for $26.95, the artichoke appetizer special had one artichoke cut in half and grilled served with a dipping sauce, $24.95. I go to other restaurants that have food for these prices but with way better quality. The pastas average between 35 and $40 for a normal size and no particularly special ingredients. Plain pasta, Pomodoro, almost $30. The fish, meat and poultry main courses are much more expensive, $45-$60 and beyond for the "truffle" dishes. I have had much better Italian food at many local family owned places. Yet, the place was pretty full on a cold evening. I am not sure why these people are happy to pay these prices for a mediocre meal. If the food was outstanding and special, and the prices were high, then I would not have written this review. To summarize, it is definitely not worth it. Do not go here.

Me and my two girlfriends had a reservation the host/owner asked for our name three times we gave the name and were seated. Then his wife comes and tells us they don't have the reservation and she was going to check- she was clearly annoyed at her husband. He comes back to us incredibly agitated telling is we don't have a reservation and my friend said I spoke to a man on Sunday and he said we don't have 7:30pm only 8 o'clock and took her name. He said impossible only my wife and I answer the phone (him being a man- my friend spoke to a man LOL). We then pulled up the phone number and showed him here is the phone call! THAT'S when get got REALLY annoyed and was literally yelling at us. Imagine- three women dressed nicely- have eaten there before no less and he's yelling at us in front of the whole restaurant. He then TOLD us to get the F*** out... I mean it was quite laughable. This owner clearly cannot handle the job of taking reseravtions- then don't do it, hire someone! All he had to say is "I'm sorry we're overbooked here's a gift card" but to tell us we are making the whole conversation up is ludicrous. I do have to say the moment we showed the phone record was when he got REALLY angry and knew we were right ha! This was the first in all three of our lives in all the restaurants we've eaten around the world to experience something like this. After reading other reviews of the owner being racist and incredibly rude, I'm not surprised. I'm sure others have had the similar experience to ours with the owner. So be aware... you might be next!

It is like a place for a shouting contest in a cave. The noise level is above your imagination. It is too dark to read the menu. No conversation possible. Avoid this place if you want to eat in a quiet and elegant atmosphere..

I am in love with the food in this Italian restaurant, I recently move back into the building the restaurant is connected to, i met the owner elvis one day coming out of the building, very nice guy, tonight i wanted to try something different, i wanted some real Italian food, so i ordered for from elvis restaurant, the food is amazing, so good, i will continue to eat at this restaurant, i also read the reviews on this place, someone said the place was racist, i am a black man and i do not agree, i do not feel racism coming from this restaurant, everyone has their own experience, but my experience is good service and good food.

I've never been here for regular service but my job has had 2 private special event luncheons here. They're not normally open for lunch but I guess they WILL open for a special request. Everything - from the food to the wine to the service - is absolutely IMPECCABLE. We LOVE it. It's a small place (my company is about 20 people and we fit perfectly), so not appropriate for larger groups, but the owner is lovely and pays very careful attention to every detail. I can't emphasize enough how good the food is. Thank you for treating us so well and being so kind!!

Such a wonderful quaint little place! The food is truly impeccable. Everything tastes so fresh and individually prepared. The waiters are very attentive! Elvis is also such an accommodating owner.Burrata, truffle ravioli, and tagliatelle pasta were our faves! We just tried it yesterday and already came back the next day. Will def be one of our faves.
