Open surprisingly Late? A small chocolate custard w/chocolate sprinkles in a cup was over $7. Whip cream wouldn’t be been extra too. But I guess prices reflect these times of inflation. The one girl working there was extremely polite & my Chocolate Custard was Delicious! Place is Well Lit, especially for at night. If you want t to avoid route 9, depending on what direction your coming from, you can enter & exit from behind the stores from off Franklin Lane.

I absolutely love Rita's custard. The cheesecake flavor and the cake batter flavor are 5 stars! I normally would have rated this location the previous years 5 stars, but this summer they barely had any selection. Today, they only had vanilla and chocolate custard flavors. I love chocolate, but Rita's doesn't make a great chocolate custard. The last time I came they had the cake batter flavor, but only 3 choices. Last year and previous years they had at least 4 custard flavors to choose from. That's why I didn't visit this location much this summer. They only had one cream ice on their menu too this summer. My favorite cream ices by Rita’s is marshmallow peanut butter and fudge brownie. Both flavors they didn’t carry at this location all summer which was very disappointing! If your ok with a limited selection then you will like this location. I’ll update my review when they expand their menu.

We got to rita’s at 9:55 and this one girl refused to serve us as it says online it closes at 10. She started arguing with us telling us it took too long to clean and they were already in the cleaning process. She could of easily served to us in those 5 minutes instead of arguing with us. Another girl interfered and was kind enough to apologize and proceeded to serve to us. We found this very disrespectful as we approached this situation with nothing but kindness.
Turned my business away 30 minutes before their closing time.

Like any ice cream place it's ok to visit on a hot day. The hotter the day, the better the experience. Yet, given the lack of seating areas and long lines to get a cone you really must to want it. If you're on the fence, though, any grocery store or Wawa will do the trick with less stress, lack of sweat and exponential convenience.
