Look at my review history I’m not a big fan of leaving less than stellar reviews and I am by no means boujee but figured I’d help out the next party of 12 to come to this restaurant. Waitress huffed and puffed throughout the service and when asked for suggestions or what was good etc. BYOB but didn’t offer or open the bottles of wine which is typical for other BYOB Italian restaurants I’ve been too. Appetizers were pointlessly small even for a party of two at that price point. 6 little clams casinos the size of half dollars each. Bread with cheese and marinara was good but hard to mess that up. Carpaccio was good. Fried calamari was what I would’ve expected from TGI Fridays. Bruschetta was good. Caesar salad (upcharge) and house salad were good. Chicken parm with vodka instead of marinara was made with marinara and they just put vodka sauce on top and the entire meal was flavorless with the sauce being barely pink. Portion size was good with 2 big cutlets. No kids menu but the kids meal (6 big tenders and like 12 fries) came out 20 minutes after the main entrees and was hot as if they forgot about it. The items on the specials menu looked good. Atmosphere is nice and intimate.Missed multiple items that were ordered. Not an experience you expect for $400 with a tip already included. Maybe better if you don’t have a party of 12. Offered a nice presentation of the desserts to show you what they were which was nice. Picture of the chicken francaise.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but had tenders and fries for themWheelchair accessibility: Yes

I have been coming here for years. Maybe 15 or more (even had my small wedding reception there) and then the owners changed and they took away the only meal ever get there. The gnocchi. It was the one meal I craved after two years of dieting and being the face to a global brand. I came back to dig into my favorite meal to find out the new owners changed the menu and it was gone.As for the atmosphere, It’s always been cramped in there but it’s gotten worse. They have so many tables on top of each other it’s not enjoyable. Having a conversation you have to watch what your topic is because the person next to you can hear it all perfectly. The blue cheese bread is delicious, the sausage bread is amazing. But I can’t get over them taking away one of their best pasta meals as well as the cramped situation so they lost stars for that.Update as of December 2023. Went back for another shot and it was overall horrible. This is not the Italian food we used to love. The vodka rigatoni was not even edible. Sausage bread tasted off. The only thing that was really great was the Gorgonzola bread and the desserts. Would not go back here for dinner and will not be going back here. Lost a loyal customer and wish the business the best of luck and hope they eventually get back to the standard they used to have because it is disappointing.

$28 'Lunch Special' with tiny portions? Arrogant for a strip mall. Pathetic.

Been here twice thought I would give this place a second try and I did. There won’t be a third chance…the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great….however, the service and staff needs better training especially on being polite and professional. Despite that food was great I will not be returning. No need to express the issues in detail here. Excellence service to me at restaurants matters.

This was my first time- found the restaurant online and checked with TCNJ grads who ‘approved’ the choice. So I took my son & 3 of his friends for his 21st birthday. We were VERY pleased - the service was friendly and timely, despite the restaurant being busy. Chicken saltimbocca, chicken parm, lasagna and appies (stuffed mushrooms and cheese bread) were abundant and delicious. The penne vodka sauce was passable but would not order it again here. Overall, great find and I’d definitely return.

Just amazing Italian food. Had the Tortellini Carbonara and it was delicious. Service was excellent. A little loud in the restaurant made conversation a little hard. The food though, judy YUM.

I rarely give all 5 stars but this place has it all from the food, staff and speedy service for a restaurant. If you're to take another on a date or special occasion this is the kind of place to go to. In these times post covid with inflation prices are extremely reasonable. I'm not a fan of appetizers but will try next time. I'm not a huge bread fan but theirs was out of this world. I really don't know how I can find anything negative about my visit. Highly recommend and will be go back.
