Had a fabulous dinner tonight. Sage is a great waitress -- she knows what you want before you do! Tried the coconut curry mussels. A new item and so delicious! And the fries are always so crispy! When my meal came they told me they did not have what my wife ordered, not sure why they went ahead and cooked my meal knowing they didn’t have hers. We sat there with one meal and ordered something else, and they never offered a free drink or anything to us. Spent $140 for a terrible experience.

We went on a Monday evening, and we were fortunate enough to sit in the lounge with the piano player and singer. Other members of the staff also sang, and they were all quite amazing. The ambiance is lovely, a very special place indeed, especially for a Monday night. Will definitely go back for the entertainment!

This was our first time at Nauvoo. I previously checked out the menu where I saw a number of very interesting dishes that I was looking forward to trying. However, it was a different menu since it was Valentine's Day. The food was good but not great! The service was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. Loved the ski lodge feel and the beautiful fireplaces! We will definitely go back and hopefully be able to order from the regular menu.
I was served flat beer twice after I sent the first one back. When my meal finally arrived after complaining, it was warm, not hot. This place is basically just a burger joint, which is what I noticed most people ordered.

Ate with a large party. First, the good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and classy (fireplaces, leather chairs, lots of wood & stone). The service was attentive and friendly. The entrees are slightly expensive, but reasonable for the area.The biggest part of a restaurant experience was the lowest scoring. The food was mediocre. Multiple people in my party were disappointed with their entrees, especially at the given price points ($38 for 5 scallops?). We have eaten here many times in the past but likely will not return soon.

We always forget Nauvoo grill and can kick ourselves. Haddock special was outstanding. Husband had steak and said cooked to perfection.. Our server was friendly and recommended Haddock to me and I was so glad. Took a “cozy booth” also recommended by reception employees.

Believe every review about the service .......I didn't but found out for myself !!! It's a shame because we frequented this restaurant in the 70' s & 80's ...you couldn't get in the place . It was packed, but not now !Met friends in the bar on a Saturday night . Took at least 15 minutes for 1 of the 3 bartenders to actually look up & pay attention to us sitting at the bar . Even if busy they should at least acknowledge your presence . The restaurant was not even half full.Finally got some drinks . We had a dinner reservation and the table was ready . It took my husband another 10 min to get a bar tab & close out . The hostess was very nice & sat us in front of their beautiful fireplace.After another 10 min or so ,someone came to pour water but spilled it all over because the edge of the pitcher was broken . Finally cleaned that up & the waitress came . We ordered apps and dinner at the same time , we were afraid to wait to order dinner due to the slow service .Waited a while , ordered a bottle of wine which was reasonable. Then no apps or lobster bisque soup as we ordered but dinner came out first . The waitress said she would take them back but who wants food sitting under a lamp for 1/2 hour . Were the apps even made ?! So we cancelled our apps , except the spring rolls.Everyone liked their dinner . A pork chop , Shrimp with linguini ( large portion ..lots of shrimp ) , chicken piccata, I had maji mahi . My portion of fish was very very small. The side of rice and avocado was delicious. So the food was tasty .It's a shame because the service is terrible & the ambiance is the best . This restaurant should be packed & it isn't due to some sort of mismanaged staff.It was not a dining experience I would order a dinner & apps at . Maybe a burger & drink at the bar if you could get their attention .The place looks like a beautiful ski lodge in the heart of Fair Haven .I didn't believe the reviews about service and apps coming out after or with dinner , but apparently it's true .We didn't stay for dessert !

Beautiful looking restaurant but totally mismanaged. Bar was awful. Not attentive and when drinks finally came they were wrong. Bar is way too small for size of the building. Sat by a nice fire for dinner which was nice but when water was poured for us, the young girl spilt it all over the table, not disregarding the fact she looked like she was 14! We had ordered appetizers from our waitress but never saw them as our dinners came out first. So cancelled appetizers which was VERY annoying. Food so so..definitely not worth the large bill. NOT going back. Very disappointed, our friends were too. We came to learn that the manager of Nauvoo Grill Club was fired the day before. Giving barely ONE STAR. Absolute rubbish.
