Adorable spot for a fun lunch. Not exactly a traditional tea room but well worth a stop for soup and a sandwich.

Just had our daughters sweet 16 there. They did a fantastic job.Everything was perfect. Food was prepared excellent and timed perfectly. The entire staff took care of everything for us. We had nothing to worry about. Another great experience for us there. They really knocked it out of the park for my daughters special night.

Sophia and the entire staff here went above and beyond to make my wedding reception absolutely perfect. Their level of attention and care was astounding. Guests raved about the set up, service, and food. They even accommodated our request to have arcades and board games. They were a pleasure to work with every step of the way, were always willing to workshop ideas, and accommodate whatever needs arose. I highly recommend this venue for any event you may need. You and your guests will be more than satisfied! Make sure to ask for Sophia! She's the best!

Very nice dining room friendly staff we were seated and the waiter came by for drinks friendly, polite . Our drinks arrived and we placed our order. When my appetizer didn't arrive the waiter said " I didn't think you wanted that " I was pretty clear when I ordered , no problem until the appetizer finally arrived a bone marrow with crostini the crostini was burnt not the end of the world but disappointed. when the manager came by to check how everything was I suggested he show the chef the burnt crostini , I guess that's the way they serve it burnt, because it was on the bill. The pasta was good just salty and my husbands scallops were nicely prepared just served in a red pepper sauce that was no on the description, my husband is allergic to pepper and we were past complaining . Nice waiter just not on point. Just a disappointing experience I don't think they really cared

I have tried to contact them through phone calls, emails and connections through major wedding websites, and I have received no response over several months and several attempts to contact them. I understand they are temporarily closed, but their website states that they are hosting weddings at this time. The interior looks beautiful from what I can see on the internet, but the responsiveness is not there. Do they not want my business? I feel like it's my loss because the venue is so beautiful, and the reviews for the food are mostly positive. How do I actually reach the management to get an estimate for a wedding??

One of my favorite restaurants in rumson. Little pricey but high quality food and even better drinks. Can be a little busy on Friday and sat nights so be aware of that.

Food and service are outstanding. The Ribeye with signature rub is one of the best I've had- intense flavor and cooked to perfection. Started off with raw bar, the "Kusshi" oysters (west coast) are plump and just slightly brine, tons of flavor, absolutely delicious. Finished off with a chocolate soufflé paired with homemade salted caramel sauce. This place is an absolute gem, the locals best kept secret.

This is not the Raven & the Peach I remember. We should have turned around when we first walked in. There wasn’t anyone to greet us and hung our coats in the hat check closet. The server didn’t ask if we wanted a cocktail. She didn’t tell us about specials. Never brought bread to the table.I can understand these shortcomings if she were new. She may have been. However, it doesn’t make it better. It is a management issue. My most important criticism is that the food wasn’t good. It was fair at best. These shortcomings can be corrected with capable general manager.

I took my mom to lunch with my daughter ( she's 8). The restaurant it self is very dated. It's like an old hotel lounge with big bulky old chairs. The inside could use a facelift. Now about the food. Everything was exceptional! The waitress was the only one serving and hosting and she did a really great job keeping it all together. I love how you can see the chefs cooking. My daughters grilled cheese was perfect, just like mom makes! My sandwich and soup was so tasty and my mothers seared tuna was fresh and delicious!

Amazing food and great employees. The inside is very spacious and clean, I was there for a private party which the staff were all very professional and friendly. I would recommend this venue and they deserve 5 stars.

Although the food is beautifully prepared and the atmosphere is lovely, there is a downside to the Raven Tea Room: It does not accommodate handicapped customers despite the web site statement that the entire restaurant is handicapped accessible. There is a ramp on the side of the building which leads to the interior foyer. From that point the entrance into the Tea Room consists of a flight of stairs which makes it difficult or impossible for a handicapped person to enter the dining area. There is also a door directly off the sidewalk outside going into the dining area, but staff tells handicapped customers they cannot use that door and are being rude if they do. The issues of access and insulting customers by telling them they are rude when they try to accommodate their needs were brought to the attention of the owner who did not respond in any way about either issue. There are many other good restaurants in the area which do accommodate all customers irregardless of their health issues (Apple Street Kitchen is one) and which do value all their customers so I'll leave the Tea Room to the hale and hearty.

For “fine dining” in Fair haven I expected better. The food was mediocre at best. The price was on par for eating in a wanna be rich town, stuck between Rumson and little silver. I’m more upset that we drove from colts neck to eat in this dimly lit dumpster after our friends recommend it to us. The lobster bisque tasted like it’s from a can, the steak reminded me of what you might get at aldies and the line cooks forgot to pound out, the salad was boring and tasteless and the smashed potatoes tasted like sour milk and overloaded with sour cream. Obviously no one has a wine palette in fair haven, the wine selection is one step above box wine. This place is a disappointment. Knowing what we know now, if we’re going to going toward Rumson/fair haven, we’ll stick with salt creek or for a relaxed dinner we go to Barnacle Bills.
