All the cups are dirty. There was yellow residue on the handle. Not only mine but my friends too. The food was nothing special. Cheese cake, it taste like a block of lard. Sorry, I don't want to do negative comment but get somebody who can cook.

Michelle, the owner, runs a fabulous restaurant with an excellent staff of waiters/waitresses and bartenders, several of which have been there for 20 + years.Michelle' husband is the chef who prepares delicious dinners. They have an all-inclusive dinner special for $30 cash only till 6 PM. But if you only want a meal and a salad, you will still leave with food to go.

Tried the chicken grigliada, balsamic salmon and the pasta sorenitina. Way too much sauce on all of the entres but otherwise well prepared. Restaurant either does not have or needs an expediter as service was extremely slow. Two entres were like warm other hot. Tables sat after us were served first. Maybe go on an off day and time for better service.

The bartender here is amazing on top of it. He mixes a really good drink, the food is very good can't go wrong stopping by.Kid-friendliness: The bartender took care of the bar area. He made everyone feel as if they were the only one in the room. Can't say enough about that guy.
I don't live in New Jersey, but I visit at least twice a year. I'm lucky enough to have cousins that take me 2 or 3 times everytime I go!!! The food is spectacular, service is excellent, and the owners are so sweet!! Get the artichoke appetizer!!!! It's to die for!!

Came here one night for the first time a couple of months ago, friend of mine who knows the Owners from years ago recommended it. Let me tell you, it really was an outstanding experience and now they have new customers! We try and go every other weekend to spread the support around. Paul and Michelle are the Best! Paul made me a special Cacio de Pepe pasta......knocked my socks off, I had to take the rest home it was so filling and huge portion!.....the drinks are fabulous and always on point. Bill is one of the most professional waiters, that still exist, believe it or not! I don't even need to turn my head, Bill is right there with whatever it is he see's needing at the table or in my glass I should say..>LOL. You must try the place, the food is outstanding and the ambience is very clean/sleek but yet warming and welcoming. Paul & Michelle, fabulous place! Glad we took the leap and branched out with Butchie!!

Great food and service but I marked service as a 1 star because they have "hidden" fees. On the rocks? There's a fee for that. No ice like in a martini? There's a $2 fee for that.

This should really be a 3.5 Star review ( but I'll round up for the great service by our waiter Bill).Actually I was expecting a little more out of the experience especially since I know people who have high regards for Davia. I will note that it was closed for a small time due to a fire and that hurts a business in many ways and can take years to fully recover.Service all around was friendly. Food fairly priced. A few standouts. But this Phoenix has a but more to go to fully rise form the ashes.Bar area is approx 14 stools and seemed to be an older, more local crowd. ( it was a Wednesday). bartender seemed a bit shaky and booze, beer, and wine selections were a bit sparse. No vermouth to make me a martini, really? How's that happen ?But we come for...THE FOOD...The Shrimp & Artichoke Mustarde ( app) with a tarragon-Dijon brandy sauce was VERY good. Smaller size in portion but plenty of flavor.However the fried calamari fell flat. 99.5% sure they were frozen.The Entree menu had a nice variety of Italian dishes as well as some continental classics like Beef wellington and rack of lamb. I had the Veal Pontevecchio: medallions of veal with shrimp, spinach, sun-dried tomato in a brandy cream sauce which was very good.Another entree tried was theChicken Due Volte which is a fried chicken cutlet, with eggplant, sausage, fresh mozzarella in a pink sauce. Sounds amazing, but was just very good. I would try this again and still recommend it.There are some home made dessert offerings.Parking lot in rear.

My partner and I have dined at this establishment 2 times since moving to Fair Lawn. We have always had a wonderful service experience, the waitstaff and bartenders are always attentive, kind and quick. The food taste delicious and fresh. I had the branzino special this most recent time and the sauce and fish were delectable, and a great portion size! My partner had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection, he also loved the salad dressing delicious, garlicky and fresh greens! This place really makes you feel like your enjoying a nice family meal with a relaxing, casual but elegant ambiance!Kid-friendliness: There are always families having big dinners here
