Located off a busy 46 East in Fairfield, this family-owned and operated establishment is one of our favorites for sweet desserts and Italian pastries. Upon arrival at Calandra's, the recently remodeled bakery was busy, which is a good thing, and moved fast on Easter Sunday. Parking was not a problem. A big bakery in the neighborhood. So many deserts to pick from. Honestly it’s a bit confusing LOL. Cakes, cookies, pastries.. they have it all. Service is very good. The pastry I purchased looked fresh in the tray but it was a tad dry so couldn’t enjoy much. Perhaps I will try a different one next time.
