Newly operated bar with great potential. Came in on a Friday night after passing by and seeing it was opened again. There wasn't much of a crowd so we got to talk to the owner Chuck and bartender Delilah. Loved the ambiance, drinks are strong and we got to get try pork bao buns and fish tacos! Delish!! They have a pool table and a private little room with beer pong if you want to hold a private party. We will be coming back

Can't be beat! enough room for everyone, nice vibey inside, reasonable prices, and the most lovely bartenders. Can't wait for everyone else to catch onto what I've already caught on at The Post.

Bar one has become my new spot. There is a vast selection of great food, affordable drinks, and multiple ways to keep your mind active if your friends are boring(TVs, pool table, games). The aesthetic of this place as well as the hospitality of the workers adds to my experience whenever I stop by. I love the music but if you don’t there is an app from which songs may be requested. I always enjoy the crowd because they are welcoming and funny. The owner was very friendly as well as attentive. I love the outside seating during the warmer seasons and the inside seating is just as nice. :)

My friends and colleagues are frequent visitors of this bar. i decided to give the place a try considering it's of close vacinity of my home . went there with two of my friends and ended up getting kicked out by the owner . i went to the bar to ask for drinks and beer . The owner himself Chuck is a bartender at the place . i went up to the bar politely and said excuse me can i order and he completely did not acknowledge me . after multiple attempts i went back to my friends table told them the situation . went back to the bar and proceeded to ask another bartender for drinks and she was rude . the owner came up to me and said "are you good?" i explained to him that i have been waiting for over 15 minutes for drinks and no one acknowledged me . he told me to relax and said it's only been 4 minutes and that i am very rude and said get out of my bar . i myself am a gentleman of hispanic/latino background and i believed i was racially profiled by Chuck and his staff . i have a BA from NYU and own businesses , i would never treat any customer this way . it's sad to see that racism is so close to home . Hudson County is a melting pot . everyone deserves to be respected . this is not the first time i have heard about racial issues with this bar .

Chuck is the best. I was surprised when he told me he was the owner because he was serving our table and made sure everything was more than perfect. The food was delicious. He told me about a drink they have with tequila and passion fruit and I fell in love with it. It was super on point. And there’s buckets!! Pool table and you can even play beer pong. The best part was the jukebox you can pick a song from your phone. The service was great. The food was great. The drinks were great. Definitely coming back!! This is my new spot. Chuck was great I’ve been there before and nobody introduced themselves. Chuck has definitely made the difference. Can’t wait to go back! It’s social distanced. And clean, everything was super awesome!!

Great low key place for when you want to hangout and have amazing food and great times. I came here for the first time, I spent my day snowboarding and all that adrenaline rush, got me so tired. I was really hungry and wanted to chill and have a drink. Pass by this place and stoped for food and a drink. My first time here the bartender and owner was able to sit us down and not only he gave us the best recommendations for drink but this guy gave us the menu by verbatim. The food was amazing! For just simple bar food. They put so much effort to there food and drinks. I recommend bacon cheeseburger and fries and a passion fruit with a shot of tequila. You won't be disappointed I promise!

The short guy who is the owner needs to get his priorities in check. Rude, sarcastic, and a bit of a bigot. I didn't feel welcomed there at all.

Came here to meet up with a few friends. Was told capacity was 45 and had to wait for people to leave. We waited about 20min until the owner came out and said hi to someone. The person went down the stairs to the back entrance to the place and was allowed in even though they "were at capacity". I suppose this happened a few times since I noticed the person end up inside after giving a "What's up" to the owner. I decided to stand outside an count, which resulted in a count of exactly 48 people, excluding the kitchen and area directly behind the wall at the entrance (no windows or view unless you're inside). So someone may want to tip off the NJDOH about the lack of integrity being upheld at Bar One...
