The food is awesome and tasty—however, they are not responsive when it comes to customer service. I’ve reached out twice regarding nutritional information and also regarding food safety (some of my meals came cracked/open) and I have not received a response. I reached out through email, instagram (both accounts) and through their site. Due to this, I had to throw out meals since I’m not sure whether they’re safe to eat. Hopefully they become more responsive because the meals are tasty. The only meals I haven’t loved are those with turkey meat—but I think that’s preference.

Mediocre. Some meals were decent others were just not good in comparison to other meal prep companies we’ve tried. I also reached out to the company on numerous occasions regarding an issue with initially placing my order...no one ever got back to me. Will definitely not order again.

From bad to worse. I have been trying to delete my account for the last month. They keep telling me (three times already) that they did it, but then I go to their website and the account is still there with all my information. Had to write to the Better Business Bureau. Fingers crossed!

Definitely more than 4 stars, but not quite full 5 stars for me. This establishment is a "quality vs quantity" meal prep place. It's a warehouse where they cook all their meals with a tiny store front. You can see the kitchen, and the chefs cooking all the food. A small freezer has an assortment of prepped meals, soups, and grilled chicken or fish. It is best to go on their website, and see what they have first. You can order anything you like then choose to "ship or pick-up option". They do have a discount if you sign up, and order a bunch of meals. My go to option is the 10pack grilled chicken. It comes to $3.50 a piece. Even though it is frozen once you defrost it, and heat it up a bit it will taste like it was cooked fresh. Somehow, the " flash frozen technique" comes into play once you unfreeze it to bring it back to life....juicy, tender, and delicious! KEY POINTS: -All their meals are flash frozen. There is a technique behind it, and the chef/owner is universally known for this. It makes for easier shipping, but also if picking up you'll see your order frozen. I'm not a fan of this. I really feel they should give the option of having warm, and frozen meals when ordering. If you plan on eating a meal when you get your order you'll have to wait until it de-freezes first. Which at that point is useless, because you can not wait that long before you eat. -This place is not cheap compared to other meal prep places, BUT the QUALITY is like no other (EVEN THOUGH IT'S FROZEN)! The meals are weighed to a certain portion, so if you're hungry you can eat 2 meals easily. This is costly @ around $10+ per meal. Overall, you're paying for quality here. This chef/owner is known all over the country, and ships to many many establishments. This is why he AND his meals are famous. If you're looking for some nice meal prep options give this place a try. I promise you will not be disappointed as far as taste and quality goes. As for bang-for-your-buck AND made-to-order (not frozen), there are other places I've already reviewed that take the cake.

Meals are very good, but for me customer service and communication are a huge trade off, so I cannot go over two stars. I received two emails promising a free cool bag with next order. Never received the bag and never received a response to my inquiries by email. It is not clear if meals come frozen or refrigerated, because I usually received half of the meals frozen and half refrigerated in the same box. I received several containers broken, and I am not sure why I was told that they should be fine, when the lid says not to consume them if the seal is broken. They could object mentioning the handling, but if the box does not show any sign of mishandling, it seems like the damage happened during packing and not shipping. Probably the issue resides only when you need them shipped, which I would not recommend with the current QA. I would also recommend to monitor the email address, otherwise there is no reason in 2019 to have one on the website.

I ordered some boxes over Memorial Day weekend and was just so impressed with the quality, taste and freshness. These are not typical meal prep foods that look (and taste) like frozen dinners. These are like homemade meals with fresh vegetables. All of them were absolutely delicious and low in calories.

ELC is yummy and very convenient. I eat ELC for lunch a few days a week. The meals are very satisfying. During the times I am trying to lose a few pounds, I follow the weight loss program. It's hard to believe that I am actually losing weight while eating these meals. It does not feel like I am missing out on anything since the meals are so delicious. Thanks Carlo

The meals are the perfect portion for any meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) The meals are healthy and nutritious and ideal for eating when you don't have the time/patience to prepare something after a long or busy day. There is also a top shelf supplement line, if you are looking to really target additional health and wellness benefits. I highly recommend this company as they will exceed your expectations through taste and service.
