My sister worked here for years and it was a wonderful Cafe for so long but recently, the staff are rude and lazy and every, NOW I MEAN EVERYTIME, they have failed to deliver to my home successfully and on time. I am currently on hold with Uber Eats asking for a refund and I ordered my food at 9:30am and it's 11:30am almost. Absolutely ridiculous and I will NEVER order from here again. I also run the local school office and they have lost business for our breakfast from now on. Good riddance and I hope you all close.

I've been living in the area for 14 years, and I've never eaten here until just recently . I have to admit I've been missing out. The line is out the door sometimes for good reasoning. The breakfast here is absolutely great. Everything is fresh, and the service for how crowded it gets is pretty special as well! Don't be like me, ignore the line and eat here.

Love the food here. Their breakfast sandwiches would have me coming back if I lived in another state. Prices are fair and service is great. Recommend trying any of their bagels with their delicious cream cheese spreads.Parking: There is always plenty of parking in the lot and some spots directly in front of the restaurant.

Breakfast croissant is super yummy and fresh. The only complaint I would have is the pricing, just a tad over overpriced. I paid for a croissant, two eggs and two slices of bacon $8.
Dropped by here on a whim going up to the Palisades. Staff was super friendly and attentive; great pastrami sandwiches!

I loved this place. Their bagels are so good!!! The in-house people are so nice. I’ve literally ordered from here everyday, and now I’m annoyed cause of their delivery drivers. A delivery that used to take 20 minutes, now takes an entire hour or more, which ends up making the food cold. One of the delivery drivers had the audacity to text me “next time tip” when I simply forgot to press the button. & the leave the food in front, no bell ring, no phone call. I’ve attempted to give this place chances, but their delivery people literally ruined it…

Metropolitan Cafe use to be my go to spot but not as much now. Their dine in is alright, food is so mediocre it hurts. Their BEC’s are good and their bagels are good but everything else is heavily mediocre. Omelets are bland, burritos/wraps are always missing some type of seasoning. Their prices are too high and delivery is overly expensive. My wife paid $30 for two wraps to be delivered an hour later, food was cold and it was so sadly wrapped. Their value in food has depreciated and its upsetting. My apologies if the review was too negative.
