Moving the fish market to the dining room was just weird. A young man just sitting behind the fish station. Our dinner was really bad. My wife had a poke bowl thst was horrible. She couldn't have much of it. I wanted fried shrimp. I kept asking waitress. I've had their fried shrimp before and I hated the battered shrimp. All dough. She said it's was breaded fried. Shrimp. But sure enough each one was size of a tennis ball. AllDough. I guess they killIt with the bar around the wall. It was packed. We won't go again.

This is the first time we had food at the restaurant, it makes a big difference in house vs takeout, the quality of the seafood including the fried scallops which we tried for the first time is amazing.A nice family friendly Irish pub where kids had an amazing time dipping ketchup and eating fish and chips, great service overall, and can get a bit busy on Friday nights !

Thought the food was excellent. The balsamic calamari was amazing and the crab ravioli was so good. The atmosphere was just ok, but this place is a hidden gem food wise. The service was good as well.

I ordered the fried shrimp and my wife ordered a Poké bowl. Both were horrible. So bad. Asked waitress if the fried shrimp was battered. Slopp fr the fish store. She went back to kitchen and asked and was told it was lightly Battered. It came out even worse than at the takeout place. My wife’s Poké bowl was an embarrassment so bad.

What happened to this restaurant? This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. They have a fish market inside the restaurant. This is weird, right? They used to have the best tomato soup. However, now they do not serve it. The new menu is way too small and is predominantly seafood. I am not a fan. We went there on a Friday night. After we ordered our drinks we left. Hopefully they change back to the old menu. The owner and staff are really nice people.

We used to go to Sheelens when it was down the block. We would get 2 nice size pieces of fish. Tonight we got it and couldnt believe the size of the fish, 2 very small pieces. It was expensive also. Time to make my own.
Went there Saturday night worst meal asked for fried fish came out horrible completely overcooked I could see why nobody goes there.

Worst food I've ever had delivered. Lobster roll? So overcooked the lobster meat was like sand and had no flavor at all. Just dry tasteless sawdust on a roll.Fried oysters over cooked also. No flavor.Clams? Spilled into the bag completely. Ruined my shirt. Inedible.Bad, bad, bad. And super costly.

Sooo good. We came here because my man was in the mood for Fish and Chips and we were not disappointed.I ordered the broiled scallops with fries and he had the fish and chips with tater tots. His actually came with fries by mistake and the server fixed it by bringing us a side of tots which was huge. They were so fresh and hot off the press. After we had our meals I then ordered a drink special called strawberry fields. It was a little string. It that's okay. We enjoyed our meals and were surprised at the nice change from the previous Sheelan's. We will definitely be back.
