Good portions, presentation and taste. The chicken Kastu on white rice along with 2 portions of tuna nigiri, was very good. I enjoyed this meal. Thank you.

Have tried many different places but this place has very good food. Miso soup was flavorful, tea was good. Sushi was fresh and tasted great.

Decent place to grab a bite with some friends, price is on high end for small portions and drinks are also overpriced for size but then again what isn't overpriced now a days? This is more of a place to go once in a while definitely not an everyday restaurant. Food is tasty.

I ordered 4 items from their menu. Tuna tataki, seaweed salad, beef negamaki, and steak hibachi. The seaweed salad came with spring mix, which was an odd choice. Not necessarily bad, just odd.The tuna tataki, instead of being seared tuna in ponzu sauce came out as spicy seared tuna wrapped around raw red onions and avocado, this was inedible. The beef negamaki instead of using traditional Japanese bbq sauce used something akin to sweet baby rays. Not awful, but again an odd choice. The steak hibachi was so covered in oil that the entire dish, meat and vegetables tasted like the smell of a grease trap. I took 3 bites before asking for the check.Overall, the none of the food was good or stood out, at the prices charged this one is a bit of a waste of money though ?

Great sushi spot if your lunch looking for something new. My family and I have been looking for a decent sushi spot for awhile and this definitely fits the bill.

The food has a beautiful presentation. The food itself quality was sub par.The sushi was good quality but the price was very pricy. They location is in a awkward spot off a main road and the restaurant is fairly small. I had two apps, two regular rolls, two special rolls with a up-charge for real crab, also a side salad. The portions were good enough to share for two.

Awful! Fishy smelling and tasting rolls. Salad was half the bowl. Waitress wiping her nose then picking up and serving plates of food. Also standing at the counter playing with her cell phone. One and done, I'll NEVER go back. Been eating at Ota Ya for 17 years. No comparison to quality or service.

They have some nice sushi for vegans! Try the asparagus roll, the avocado roll, or the oshinko (pickled radish) roll. ? I also love their Thai dish with green curry sauce because it’s nice and vegan! Other restaurants add shellfish (shrimp paste) to the green curry sauce…gross! ☹️
