Enjoyed a French Dip sandwich. The roast beef sandwich would stand alone without the au jus. Fries provided with the order were done just right. Friendly service.The only disappointment (personal preference) was the decor. I'm sure they were trying for an upscale look, but it missed. There was a great opportunity to build on the heritage of the location and the historic train that used to operate here. Didn't happen.

Seated outside in the sunshine, after a while of waiting, we had to ask for a glass of water. My pasta dish was more like a soup, but was not offered a spoon. The bottle of wine we ordered was ‘plonked’ on the table and warm. Server didn’t know Chardonnay and most white wines should he served cold. She offered us some ice for it. Couldn’t believe it. This was 2nd time we’ve encountered exact same issue there. I don’t necessarily blame her for the wine temperature, as she is not legal age, but surely management should know.

Sat outside for lunch today. The BLT on multigrain bread was delicious. The bacon was crisp and flavorful. The bread had a nice texture to it. Ordered sweet potato fries to go along with it and they tasted better than they looked but were still just ok. Service was very fast and friendly. Be careful walking onto their patio though. There is a ledge that is almost invisible. We watched someone trip and fall as they were trying to leave.

Platform One was recommended to us for the funeral repast for my mother-in-law, and they did a fantastic job! The staff did an excellent job, and the food was great! Highly recommend them!

Platform One is a modern American cuisine in a stylish, upbeat setting. So many great choices to this eclectic menu, they have varied appetizers from calamari to wings & garlic shrimp & beyond. They offer healthy salads and wraps, amazing burgers and sandwiches, fish and chips, & pasta entrees. Their Superfood Salad features spinach, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts, broccoli, peppers, tomatoes, red onion, egg, and pomegranate dressing. But this Amazing restaurant is also known for their burgers. Signature burgers include the Black & Blue and the Frenchy; the latter comes with Brie cheese, bacon, mixed greens, tomato, red onion, and pesto mayo. Their portions aren't in any way small, definitely need a to go box. The decor is bright and fairly open with a party room on the side. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Have been here numerous times and have also loved what I've chosen. They have daily specials with great soups. I had the fish & chips yesterday which is always one of my go twos, batter is super crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside and a huge portion & they have malt vinegar which is a must for me coming from Scotland! Why I like it: They offer local wine selections, including some from Old York Cellars in Ringoes so no need to get there forgetting your BYOB at dinner time. I dined here for lunch with my wife, daughter, and son-in-law and thought the food and service was very good. No complaints, just a nice lunch consisting of fresh ingredients. I ordered boneless buffalo chicken fingers, my wife got the Cobb Salad, my daughter the chicken fingers with a small goat cheese salad on the side and my son-in-law ordered the Turkey Club. Excellent!
Recently had lunch at Platform One. I have all kinds of food restrictions (seafood allergy, gluten-free diet) and they were FABULOUS. Lots of really delicious choices, Our server (Carli) was extremely accommodating, pleasant, and great at her job. Plus, there was lots of outside (socially distanced) seating and very convenient partaking. The combination of great food (with lots of choices) and great service, lovely and safe atmosphere and convenience would bring me back there again anytime!
