Arrived at 18.02 - food was ready at approx 18.40.Manager/owner had a friend in kitchen who had small boy with him who was stood on surface while adults chatted. When the friend left the Manager still didn't assist.The tenders were hot and tasty. The summer strawberry salad with grilled chicken was also delicious. Sodas are watered down.Unless I am really stuck I won't return.

Recommended by my kids. I don't know if there is any other locations. The restaurant inside is well decorated. Neat and clean. The taste is obviously of its own. Pretty unique. I like their fried mushrooms. Juicy hot inside with a tempura like soft fried crust. It's salted... The coleslaw is a bit plain without much mayonnaise in... A different taste from the others. Not bad.... Toast was a bit cold when served... Minus.... My daughter likes the fried Chicken strips better than the bafflo wings. They provides various different sauce for your dip choice... Will try the other things next time...

Worked there for like a month when first opened before quitting. Two of my paychecks went through and the other 5 bounced and we've been talking to corporate and now they wont respond. Owner honestly is just abusive to all staff. Human resources should be there everyday. Weird guy really doesn't know how to run a business with teenagers. He can't touch em all. I just want my money. What a shame taking advantage of kids trying to work. So many of my friends quit already.

Best wings and tenders I've had in the general Trenton area, and I've been looking pretty hard. Everybody loves chick-fil-a, and not knocking them, but I think this is the best chicken option.

This was my first time at a Slim Chicken ever and I was very happy with the entire experience. The food was fairly priced for the amount that you get and the service was fast but you can tell it was made to order cause it wasnt lightning fast. The homemade sauce that I got was the Garlic parmesan which I highly recommend!!

I have ordered enough from Slim Chickens in the past where I had a $24 rewards credit. This past Sunday I ordered 2 adult meals and 1 child meal through the app for 7:45 pickup. I arrived a few minutes early, parked in one of the designated spots for curbside pickup and called the number to let them know that I was there. I let the phone ring at least 20 times before deciding to go inside. Once inside I could see 2 other customers waiting and a woman at the counter on the phone. After a minute I could hear her saying that she had to go because she had customers. The 2 customers before me were given their orders and when she turned to me I gave her my name and told her that I placed an order through the app for pickup. She looked at the order board, yelled to the back and asked me what drinks I ordered. She seemed annoyed when I told her that there were 2 strawberry milkshakes in the order and commented that she would have to make them. She put the 2 shakes and the chocolate milk in a caddy on the counter and then started takimg drive through orders. After a few minutes a woman from the back came to the counter to put the meals in a bag and told me it was complete. I took the bags and went to my car where I checked the order. My daughter's meal had mac and cheese instead of French fries. When I went back inside, the woman from the back asked what was wrong and I told her. She took the meal to the back, took out the small container of mac and cheese, replacing with fries and handed it back to me. There was no apology or anything. I can understand a mistake. I had one on a prior order and the manager apologized profusely for it. What I can't understand is apathy in a business that needs customer service and satisfaction. I will think twice before deciding where to place my next order.

So is the saving answer for a Southern Chicken place when it's Sunday and CFA is closed? Depends on your craving for chicken... Here's a nice way to compare the two, if CFA is far-right, Slim Chickens is further right in a sense, since some people wouldn't be up to having Fox on when they eat fast food. That doesn't matter for most people however since they want good food, and I want to be as honest as possible with it. I ordered a Cayenne Ranch sandwich and I mean it didn't feel as spicy as it should have, but there is the word "RANCH" so I can let it slide. The chicken tastes slightly better than CFA, but I would rather keep CFA leftovers from Saturday for a Sunday meal if I'm being honest. Slim Chickens is good, but I'm not sure if it's the savior of southern chicken joints.
We drove past Slim Chickens a few times and decided to stop this time around. Menu is pretty straight forward, hardest selection was what sauce. We got the Hungry Meal (7 tenders & fries) with a side of fried pickles. We got the sweet red chili & spicy bbq sauce for the chicken and cayenne ranch for the pickles. Food came out fast, but more importantly it was fresh! Toast for sure is unimpressive but food overall was good. Oh yeah, we got a drink and mixed all the teas (peach, raspberry & regular sweet tea) which i highly recommend! Would definitely return again to try out something new.

Food was fresh and hot which I loved! Pickles had just enough batter but a little too much salt but not unbearable, definitely recommend this meal. Spicy BBQ sauce was very good! Could have did without the "Texas Toast" but that's not a dealbreaker.
