“I’ve been coming to Queen City Coffee Roasters since 2020. I’m always looking to support local coffee shops as Starbucks and Dunkin’s quality is severely lacking. After four years of continuous store visits and door dash orders, I am always greeted and recognized by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Regardless of my drink, hot or iced, each team member can answer questions and slightly modify the drink if necessary for your palate. They always have fresh pastries and now even have delicious breakfast burritos. It’s nestled into a cute spot in Plainfield and the shop itself is always feature local artists and they have several events a month. My drink recommendation is the Spanish latte. Iced or hot, I guarantee you won’t have a better latte.“

I reached out to ask if I can get it sooner and they saved one for me! Communication was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful when I picked up my cake. “We were staying nearby at the Heldrich Hotel and were looking for a place to have breakfast where there might be some gluten free options. SOL-KALANIT’S was the perfect solution. My wife had tacos (corn, not flour) both mornings we ate there and said they were the best tacos she had eaten since she moved back east from Arizona. I had an omelet both mornings and both were excellent. The dine-in area is small and it can get a bit noisy. But everyone who works there is warm, friendly, and lot’s of fun. The food is a mix of Mexican, Native American, and Mediterranean. If this place were closer to home, we would be regular customers. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.“

The tendons are either a hit or miss because I don’t like the big hard chunks. I usually drink the broth but today’s broth tasted more salty than usual. Portions are adequately sized, and I often have to get to go containers for my soup and noodles. If you pay in cash, you get an extra 5% off!“
