My gf recommended that we go get some snacks and get some classic dishes. To be honest pretty good, very friendly staff, and a good atmosphere.

Good: lumpia, pork sig sig, leche flanOk: oxtail kare kare, porkbelly in sauce (binakdongan?)Food was solid but nothing stood out. Nothing is served with rice and I feel like it would have improved it greatly. The pork sig sig is meat only which makes it very collagenous and rich. The porkbelly in sauce I'm not 100% sure which item it was and came recommended by the staff. The sauce had lime which was lovely but the porkbelly was a little overcooked and dry and it had very overcooked pieces of liver in it (I wouldn't have minded the liver taste if it wasn't so overcooked and dry)I forgot a picture of the leche flan but it was very firm but creamy and not curdled so props to them. The caramel sauce has what I felt was a orange/citrus flavor which we enjoyedLumpia was good but not as amazing as I had hoped and know it can be.

Ordered palabok, chicken sinigang, tofu with black bean sauce, pork longanisa, pork bbq sticks, grilled lechon, and pork adobo. Everything tasted great and was freshly made! Hope they can hire an extra staff member or two to help take orders from customers and clean the tables so more people can enjoy the foodAnother good flavorful option is their bistek

If it's your first time here, make sure you don't sit directly on the chair. They don't come to you to take your order, instead you have to go to the counter and order.Food is fine, nothing special. Order crispy pata, you have to make your own sauce which is a big disappointment.I don't recommend Halo-halo, they don't use shave ice. It's a waste of money.

An assortment of fresh fish, cooked to order. They keep it in ice and you can pick. Great price. They season with salt and include the soy sauce with vinegar. Salamat.

This is based on delivery only. I wanted to love this and was so excited to try this restaurant for a few months now. Today, I had urgent comfort food and homeland cravings. After living in jersey city for well over a decade I'm used to those comforts at an affordable price. I'm not above elevating Filipino cuisine, from Purple Yam in Brooklyn to the more recently closed Maharlika in LES, to MaamSir in LA, I love a fancy retelling of our food. For me-- Delivery person was kind but didn't follow instructions at all and got lost. The richness of kare kare is meant to be unctuous but this version was tepid and stew/sauce was real thin. You can see the color in the photos that it lacked peanut butter and seasoning. It tasted watered down and sweet, no savory nuance. The pork belly and beef on their own, were cooked perfectly in texture but there was way more tripe than meat. For almost $20, my protein should not be mostly tripe. I definitely needed the bagoong for the kare kare to enhance flavor. The pinakbet was better and had great amounts of gulay-- squash, eggplant, green beans, with bagoong Umami were excellently timed in cooking and didn't sacrifice flavor. The veggie lumpia was tasty and the best executed of the dishes. 3/5 or a C+ at best. No rice was included and total delivery was over $50 (35 for pick up) for two mains and an app? Kind of wild, really.

It is not easy to find a spacious, clean, fresh and delicious Filipino restaurant. Most of the time the establishment is cramped, messy, tables are oily and the food greasy and low quality. Luzviminda however is none of these things. What I love the most about this place is the fresh seafood case where you can select any fish, squid or shrimp to have cooked in whatever dish you'd like. The food is delicious and the portions and prices very reasonable. And they have a convenient mini grocery! Unfortunately they don't carry everything, but you know that their items haven't been on the shelves for over a year! The service is prompt friendly, patient and helpful. My only critique is that the tables were not cleared right away. It took about 30 minutes before someone finally started clearing up. Other than that, this is my new Filipino restaurant go-to! Try it, you won't regret it!

What a great find! This place has been hiding from me since 2021! If you haven't checked it out...food is non-greasy, freshly made to order! Staff is fantastic and so Filipino...polite, service with a smile, friendly and welcoming! 5 stars all the way! Place is clean and decor makes you feel like you're in the Philippines!

First time eating here today, was happily surprised to see it's not the typical turo-turo Filipino restaurant. Food was quite good, service was friendly and efficient. We didn't try it, but they have a section with a dampa style menu where you pick the seafood and they'll cook it however you want. I'd only suggest that the seafood be presented more appealingly and enticingly as it took us a while to figure out it was pick-your-seafood and it wasn't just a pile of ice in the display cases. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and will likely be back.

You can pick out the fish you want and they will cook it for you. Depending on what I choose, my preference is either fried or grilled. Although I don't order something different on every visit, I am easily satisfied with delicious food and they never let me down. And of course the staff is always very friendly and patient.Parking: Lots of available parking, since there's not too much business at the end of the strip mall.
