“Prices are a bit steep but otherwise we've redound our love for Sunmerry. Kids love the rainbow cake and in general their bakery is super fresh and on a different level vs even your high quality Asian bakery. I love that they started free samples of their juices and cakes, baked items. It's another reason we get drawn to come back to Sunmerry for desert almost every other week!“
“It’s a place she loves. I take it out a couple of times a week and go home to eat, sometimes at the restaurant. It‘s always packed well so that the food doesn’t flow, and the inside of the restaurant is clean, and it‘s a good place to eat simply. I was above average satisfied with everything on the menu. For my family’s taste, pasta is the best here. The owner here is so kind, and the staff is quick to respond to customers‘ requests.“
“This is the best bubble tea place I've been to in my life. The selection is plentiful and they allow endless customization. Staff are all incredibly friendly and the owner is always welcoming and has positive energy. Atmosphere is both modern and cozy.My recommendation is the Taro Tofu Pudding Milk Tea with Red Beans and Creme Brulee.“
“I have been a customer of KFT Fort Lee for 7 years and running now, around their time of opening in Washington Bridge Plaza. Back then, I'd just come once a month and as a boba purist, just ordering straight bubble tea in the OG flavors - classic, taro, and almond. I was a repeat customer due to the consistency that no other tea places in the area have - the fact that the boba texture and temperature was more often than not sublime, achieving the perfect ratio of chewy vs melty in the tapioca. But after they introduced the mango tea flavor last autumn and shortly after that free stickers (usually anime but we've also picked up Disney/Marvel and even adult-oriented humor), my 9-year old was hooked and thus, Kung Fu has joined McDonald's (Free Fry Fridays) and Moe's (Kids Eat Free Sundays) as a never-miss weekly event for us. Money-saving promos at KFT are few and far between but the amazing tea baristas behind the counter are so welcoming, generous, and make drinks so decadently delicious that you never feel short-changed.Speaking of, shout out to Yuna, Zaida, Paulina, Misa, Irene, and Henry for making KFT truly the best place to grab a multitude of satisfying and exotic beverages. Only their levels of service and artistry, infused with their sweet sweet vibrant personalities can compare to the explosive sugary goodness (literally - best experienced in the mango "popping bubbles" in a fruity slush, one of my favorties now - yes, I've come a long way from the classic boba-only days) you get in their crazy-delicious concoctions. Just last week in fact was quite the memorable experience when Yuna crafted the perfect Leading Lady - liquid peaches and cream heaven. Peach is hands down my favorite articifical flavor and I've held an appreciation for Princess Peach for the past 35 years - predating "Peach", during her "Toadstool" days of Super Marios 1-3 - and Yuna did her justice in the most refreshingly pleasing way. Yuna, you and the rest of the team are total sweethearts. We'll see ya'll again soon.“
“Machi Machi is centrally located in a popular section of Fort Lee. The storefront is sleek and inviting; uncluttered, with a simple array of direct-order kiosks and two countertops for ordering / picking up food. There are also a series of chairs inside (though without tables, so perhaps more for waiting?..) and a collection of tables / chairs right outside of the store. Their teas are very refreshing. Particularly if you order the lineup that's more 'simple' e.g. the Sun Moon Lake with regular ice / low sugar. Not cloyingly sweet or artificial tasting at all. Donuts are the somewhat typical mochi-style ones (very much in-line with the "mochi mochi kai sweets" ones they have down the road at mitsuwa). The donuts are expectedly pricey, at around $3.50 each, but of course decorated well and appear attractive. The egg sandwich was pretty stellar, in my mind. perhaps the hit of the store's offerings? I'd opt for the egg sandwich over the donut, if I was hungry and had to make a choice. Depending on how busy the store is, you may need to wait some while for the tea or food to be prepared - but not particularly bothersome, as there's other things to see / walk around towards within the plaza.“
“Best bubble tea in NJ! I really love their unique and delicious flavors. Definitely my go to when I’m craving bubble tea. If you like coffee try their cappuccino smoothie with coffee jelly, and if you’re adventurous and looking for a new flavor try their chocolate bubble tea with tapioca jelly!“
“Great new place that opened recently. Trendy atmosphere, very clean, and the owner is very kind. We ordered a grapefruit ade and a custard + red bean taiyaki. The taiyaki was heavenly, definitely recommend. Homemade batter, not too sweet, delicious filling. Mochi like texture. Definitely coming back!“
