Got the teriyaki chicken lunch special today. $14.34 got me juicy teriyaki chicken, not too salty, salad with the typical ginger carrot dressing which wasn't too tangy, carrots, broccoli, brown rice and miso soup. We chose this place based on location and reviews. It’s in a crowded strip mall in a high traffic area. As we were walking in, 3 people were walking out and one said “Good choice!”The food was fresh and served without all of the wild garnishment of some sushi restaurants.Two of us had sushi and sashimi and the other had a Bento box with salmon. We all enjoyed our meals. It’s BYOB, but there’s a liquor store directly across the parking lot like 50 feet away and the waitress came right over with wine glasses.

GET THE MANAGER’S SPECIAL!!! what a great deal. Food is always fresh, prices are great, service is quick. One of my fave go-to spots for a quick lunch or even a date night w the beau. Couldn’t recommend this place more. So underrated!!!!!

Sushi portion sizes were generous. Food arrived quickly. Ordered vegetable tempura. Half was fried white potatoes The service was mediocre and rushed. The goal seemed to be to get you in and out fast. Perhaps sushi bar or cooked food is better?
Though we live in the Bergen County, and have heard about this place, it was our first time at Hachi Sushi in Fort Lee.We had Manager's Lunch special ($22) which includes a small udon, tempura, 3 pieces of sushi, & spicy tuna roll.A good portion for a reasonable amount of money.Although nothing was too special, they serve hot tea with the meal, and on a cold day, it was a great addition.

If you want real sushi this is the spot, convenient location, right over the GWB minutes from NYC. A cozy atmosphere with great customer service and good prices. The food is super tasty you will not be disappointed. Beats any and all sushi restaurants in NYC.

Great local sushi spot!! The fish was so fresh and they had some nice variety for a local spot. The service was very good as well - all staff was very pleasant. Will definitely be coming back!

The sushi is not fresh. There is a gross fishy smell and when you eat it you can tell it’s old fish. The cooked food is ok tasting like the udon.
