Masala Bay is a fast casual dining offering a blend of Indian and Middle Eastern-inspired bowls and burritos (wrapped in naan bread). Its unique naan variations paired with spicy spreads create an intriguing experience.Vegetarian options: Has a whole bunch of Naan Options, Falafel and Samosa chaat

Found this place via scrolling on fb / ig and saw an ad for it.. Never heard of it and I'm not even from the area but decided to give it a try.My friend and I visited it on a rainy Saturday afternoon.. The owner of the place was working behind the counter which in itself is impressive right away.. She explained the process of whag they offer very easily and it was fun interacting with her and her husband. Very kind peopleThe place was established 8 yrs ago and I'm bummer out that I only found out about it recently.Using Naan as a wrap is a genius idea tbh.. They made the Naan fresh after ordering. The owner also gave a sample tasting of their soup which was a kind gesture and the soup itself was also great flavorful and the right amt of spices that wasn't overbearing! My friend and I both got wraps and they were quite good.. Actually very good that I'd gladly make tbe 45 min drive from my home to visit this place again!I saw other folks come by in the early evening and overheard their convos with the owner.. Nearly all of them knew them as their own friends.. It was impressive.. Usually you don't hear or see that at any restaurant.. But the owners were interested in knowing their customers.Would I recommend? Absolutely ?Thanks to the owners for being genuine people.. It makes a whole lot of difference when you get to encounter with them at a restaurant ?

My mom and I absolutely loved this place. The owner was one of a kind and the food was phenomenal!Vegetarian options: Most everything was vegetarian and/or gluten free!Parking: A whole lot with “minute spots” right up front. It was raining and I barely got wet.Kid-friendliness: The environment was equally calming and stimulating. There was enough to take in without being hectic.

I ordered a Bowl with Clay Oven Chicken Tikka inside it for Take out Lunch on 01/25/24, this tasted awful. Chicken was Cold, hard, did not smell well. I threw all chicken in thrash. Not trying again.

We tried two types of vegetarian masala bowls, we must say it was awesome. Didn’t expect Indian fast food of this concept and it was worth the visit. Highly recommend ?

In short, its an Indian version of chipotle. You can make your own bowls/wraps with a lot of customisation options. Can be a good one time meal. Food was good.

Stopped by Masala on a whim after driving past it a few days each week for years. Kicking myself now for not eating here sooner. Anita is passionate about her Indian/Mediterranean cuisine to put it mildly. She never opens a can or bag of ingredients. In her words, she cares about her patrons health, so if she can’t wash it, she doesn’t use it!I went with a fresh, baked-to-order chili naan wrap, spinach, lentils, cabbage, cucumber, yogurt and a tomato based sauce. Simply excellent.I’ll be back.

On my travels stopped for dinner at Masala Bay. Delicious Indian food in a casual atmosphere. I met the owner, Anita Amin, and she couldn't be more welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Was looking for a new place to try with vegan options. This place didn't disappoint! Although it was a bit different than what we were expecting, the food was so fresh and flavorful, and colorful. I also think the world's best falafel is here, it was so tasty and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Things are clearly labeled vegan, and there are options!

Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in the tri-state area. Some of the best falafel, ultra fresh ingredients in everything. Very high quality food with intense flavor and byob. Completely lights up my tastebuds every time. Keep up the great work and if you’re reading this because you haven’t tried or are skeptical give them a try before the hype catches on.

Food was good, tasty, and in good quantity. Would go again. I got the chicken tikka bowl. And tried half of the naan roll but prefer the bowl.
