My husband and I discovered this little burger restaurant by accident. Tucked into a strip mall next to a Panera, we gave it a try one day. Well, after that try, no other burgers would do for us. Right through the pandemic, we have been getting takeout there about once a week. My husband adores the Cheddar Bacon Burger, and I have a favorite Build-Your-Own combination that includes the multi-grain bun, fresh avocado and Mooyah sauce. The freshly handmade-to-order burgers cost a little less than $10 on average, and we found the quality worth paying a little over fast food prices. The last time I went by after work to pick up takeout dinner (4/6/2021), there was a sign on the door saying that the restaurant is closed. A glance through the windows showed that the order counter had been stripped bare of the usual menus and business cards, which makes me think the restaurant is permanently closed. Somerset, NJ is not listed on the Mooyah Burger website. So sad. Now we will have to hike out to Skillman to get our favorites.

I am giving Mooyah 4/5 stars. I have eaten here several times! I had the BBQ Bacon burger today with sweet potato fries. The burger honestly looked underwhelming but it tasted much better than it looked. It was a nice combo of ingredients and I personally thought the grilled onions really brought all the flavor together. Their sweet potato fries are some of the best out there. They are a must have when you go to Mooyah. I've had the veggie burger several times here as well. I had it a month ago and I remember it being better in the past. I wonder if they changed any of the ingredients. I've never actually had a shake from here but I've only heard good things!

Came in at 9:30 once, ready to leave a good tip for being somewhat near close and get out of there. “Oh sorry we turned off the grill so no burgers”Look I worked at 5 guys, I dreaded the late customer as much as the next guy. But you start prepping for close by scrapping the grill, maybe the vents and doing dishes and sweeping. You don’t shut down before close, terrible look.

The guy at the register was very courteous. However, the person working the food area was very condescending and rude (girl with the pink hair) The manager should find staff that have better manners and treat the customers with respect. Probably won't go back.

MOOYAH never fails! Burgers are top notch and the MOOYAH sauce unique. Add some sweet potato fries and you’re set. Really consistently good!

We were really impressed with Zowie as she was on top of the order, making sure our order was correct and put together quickly. She was pleasant, professional and a very hard worker. It was a quick transaction and as always, the food was wonderful.
First time here the customer service was amazing, He was a young guy, polite, friendly and funny. Food was awesome cooked just right. I will be back with my family.

Oh my goodness. I love Mooyah burgers and fries! Finally got the chance to try it today. I will come back again in a few days coz my husband couldn't stop raving about it. I ordered through the app and pick up was easy.

Pretty good, but I was expecting a better burger for the cost. A bit greasy, with flavor similar to most fast food chains. They were cooking the burgers to order. The hand cut fries were good.
