“We ate at the American Hotel The Standard on Sunday evening. The server was lovely. She was attentive but subtle. We had plenty of time to enjoy our drinks, appetizers and main course. They have a very versed wine list. The calamari was tender and served with tomato and a lemon side sauce, both delicious. We shared a Cesar salad and requested the romaine be chopped. The salad was fresh, crisp and the dressing was complimentary. The bourbon Salmon was cooked perfectly and served with a corn succotash. My husband had seafood risotto. It was chock full of fresh shell fish and flavorful broth, risotto cooked to perfection. My dessert was an Expresso martini with Baileys. We will definitely be frequenting this Freehold gem.“
