“Great tavern and worth the trip. I had the blackened bacon blue cheese burger and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly medium rare. The special cream of mushroom soup was incredible! We also had a cauliflower crust white pizza. Again, very good. The wings were great! Everything came out hot. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and helped us with the menu. I saw the salads and they looked good. So did the steak. Make a reservation! We got lucky and they could fit us in. Beer menu matched my taste with local brewery Lone Eagle - both Amber and Ipa on tap. I'll be back l!!”

“Really good cafe with delicious lattes. Baked good are always a mid bike ride favorite. The place is right in downtown Frenchtown and has seating inside and on some small tables on the sidewalk. They also have a small retail section with coffee related items; french presses, mugs, coffee beans.”

“First time at Chez Daniel and will not be our last! Came for lunch since Frenchtown Cafe was busy. The food was outstanding! Asparagus tart special, the short rib grilled cheese and the halibut were all exceptional. Hope the restaurant gets the patronage it deserves! Try it , you will not be disappointed! “Finally checked out Salt Box and I am so thrilled! This area has so many great shops and restaurants, so I was so happy to find a locally owned place to get a fresh pretzel. To my surprise, they have so much more! I stopped right before they closed, but the usually have stuffed pretzels, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, and so much more! The Alabama Sweet Tea was perfectly brewed (from real tea bags) with just the right amount of sugar for this happy Southern girl! My pretzels even at the end of the day were fresh, chewy, and satisfied my snack cravings. I have had their pretzel bite boxes before during meetings, but I would have to say the cinnamon sugar bites are by far my favorite. The young man behind the counter was so quick, friendly and helpful. Plus, the prices are beyond acceptable so anyone can come in even on a limited budget. They do large trays of pretzel bites with sauces for under $40, so for your next meeting or tail gate, you need to check out Salt Box. “Let me start off by saying that this restaurant has one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life, and they absolutely deserved winning top spot, it has made it incredibly difficult to order anything else off the menu.The prices are fair and you absolutely get what you pay for, the patron that rated it one star must be a regular at Domino’s or Wawa for their pizza. Restaurants don’t normally have free WiFi so they must have been upset that they couldn’t post their food on instagram and had to opt to have conversation with someone that isn’t on their phone. We haven’t had a a single bad thing off this menu and the service is always quick, and kind. 11/10 highly recommend!”

“Warm, inviting, and full of flavor. Brig O'Doon is a special place tucked away and inconspicuously located, and from the moment you walk in, you experience something so special. Community members gather to chat at the family-style kitchen table, little kids are enjoying the laid back atmosphere as their parents and grandparents sip coffee or tea. The Chai Tea latte and the breakfast sandwich is by far the best combination of spice and warmth, along with sweet and savory, it is truly incredible. My family drives 25 minutes for the coffee, lattes, food and the atmosphere. The service is wonderful and the staff seem genuinely happy to be here, despite the lines and early mornings.”

“This is the real deal! If you want artisanal cheese and bread look no further. The young man who helped us was one of the bakers ands showed a true passion for what he did. We bought three different cheeses, frolic, cheddar, and a blue cheese and two loaves of bread, a rosemary and a cheese focaccia. Also they have a selection of meat as well. I got some duck bacon, I cooked some this morning and it is amazing. They also turned us on to Ironbound farm cidery and restaurant, check this place out as well.”

“I visited Marinelli's for dinner with a friend this weekend and it was OH-SO-GOOD! I had the delectable Chicken Kristine and my friend ordered the Eggplant Tower and we shared. What an absolutely delicious dinner! The lemon blueberry cake we shared for dessert also did not disappoint. The next time I'm in the Flemington area I will definitely make a stop at Marinelli's. : )”
