I've gotten take-out from this place dozens of times, recently dined in for the first time. I have no complaints, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, perfect dining experience on all counts.Highly recommend the maki rolls and the Thai-style dishes.Kid-friendliness: It's a small, quiet place. I had lunch with my wife and 6 year old, no issues at all. The food is always delicious but today I got a Bento Box to go and there was a piece of plastic in my chicken. I called and asked to talk to a manager just to let them know what happened and they hang up on me.

We ate here on a whim, based on a friend's recommendation. Good thing....It was a great choice. I started with the Out Of Control sushi roll, which was terrific with fresh ingredients and pretty complex flavors. I, also, ordered a Dinner Combo with teriyaki steak, sashimi, rice, dumplings, and tuna sushi. It was all delicious and had the perfect amount. Not too much, not too little. My wife got the teriyaki chicken, which she enjoyed.The service was very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning to sample some of their other offerings in the future.
Bamboo House is an interesting mix of Thai and Japanese cuisines. It occupies the middle ground in the area food scene. The casual, family friendly atmosphere was fully on display with a packed dining room. I opted for a spider roll appetizer followed by a Thai seafood dish. Both were disappointing. Spider rolls are best served right out of the fryer. Mine came to the table room temp at best. It was tasty tho. The Triple delight was plentiful tho a little cold. The scallops were gritty and the calamari was over cooked and rubbery. Maybe the blame can be leveled at their success. Perhaps meals sit in the window for a longer time than they should because the servers are over whelmed? Either way, Bamboo House was a decent experience with room to improve.
