This was the best steakhouse around, great food, large portions and a comfortable atmosphere. Too bad the owner/cook died because of covid . I miss Christian's .

I ate a hamburger and I didn't like it. Bread was not fresh. Meat was not delicious. They don't want to give napkins. I asked them for and she gave by counting.

Food itself is great for the given price ($25 steaks) and worth visiting. Other than that the service is slow and everything is self service. They do accept cards, although some reviews say they don’t.

No the Christians its used to be. I used to love this place, its been about 2 years since my last visit but its certainly not the good old steak and grill spot it once was. Upon arrival I immediately noticed several items like the ribeye steak not on the menu, and that the prices have gone up, which is understandable during these times. What is not understandable and acceptable is the nasty attitude of the older woman with the thick easter European accent behind the counter. I arrived at 6pm knowing that the place is olen until 8pm. I then began to give my order to a pleasant younger kid at the counter. While I was placing my order l, an older woman who also appeared to be manning the grill kept coming over and interfering, and messing up my order. As I finished she once again came over and stated that several of the items were not available because she was not cooking them anymore today. I advised her that Christians closes at 8pm and that its only 6. She then rudely told me that she decides when to stop cooking and that she does not have to cook for me or anybody else. I then replied that if that was the case I dont have to be a patron of this place anymore or in the near future. Its a shame that this place went down the drain because of bad management.

Christian’s used to be one of my favorite local places to eat a good steak, they have reasonable prices, you order at the counter and it’s cash only. Lately I’m frustrated with the service, they are working only until 8pm if you get there at 7:30 and they won’t take your order, they don’t even have menus for you to take home and give them a call before, so disappointed.

My first time ordering here.. had the grilled chicken cutlet hero. It was okay. Too much bread for the chicken. The tostones we’re too hard. Disappointed! Maybe their streak are better but not sure I’ll go back.
Honestly speaking ok food. Terrible, terrible, service.The owner herself kick my friend out, because he returned his steak because he requested medium rare, not well done, which came out to $23.49. He returned the steak un-eaten. He simply requested for a steak cooked medium rare, and was willing to pay the difference, with out a hesitant second, she erupted and said get out my Restuarant now take your money back! I don’t want to serve people like you. He stood there confused, specifically verbatim “ma’am I come her all time, I’m sorry, I’ll pay the difference!”“I don’t care get out, get out, get out!”Ummmm yeah she just lost 2 regulars, within 30 seconds. Oh and there was about 5 customers in the restaurant who were waiting to order, so they witnessed the whole rage eruption. Real professional!Sorry not sorry for the 1 star. Horrible human being.

I had not been there since the Virus outbreak, I went there Tuesday June 8th, I recently found out about the owners passing " Christian. Great guy, we had many conversations through the years about life, food, wine & had heated conversations about Politics. Today I ordered my usual NY strip steak well done and it was as good as ever!!! Christian your place is in good hands!! Rest in peace Friend??
