My wife and I have enjoyed the lunch specials from the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. I definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to order next time!

Most of the indian take out food in the Kenilworth, Springfield and Garwood area is garbage, with the exception of Clove Garden. The chicken saag is good, although they need to work on their chicken tikka masala (so don't expect the best on that dish). But the onion culcha is very good and a large portion. The lamb korma was also good. Prices are okay and portions are not bad. We will keep getting take out from this place. If they can improve the chicken tikka masala they'll have a booming business as this dish is what most people new to indian cuisine start with.

to the owner:i'll start off by saying the good parts, service was great and people were polite and welcoming when i came for take out. the atmosphere was great, clean and cozy restaurant no issues herenow to not so good ... i ordered that staple of Indian-American cuisine ... chicken tikka marsala ... the first bite i took i quickly realized that the marsala sauce was straight out of a can ... which could have been not that bad had it been actually spiced properly but it was not at all. it was blend and pretty much tasteless. it boggles my mind that people in this day and age open restaurant and think they can serve you stuff like this and actually make it in business.i love Indian food and nothing would make me more happy than to actually have a decent Indian restaurant that actually makes MADE TO ORDER food. How hard is it to make marsala sauce?! Super easy ... fresh tomtatos, ginger, garlic, onion, spices ... THAT IT!!!!I buy a lot of frozen Indian food that blows whatever Clove Garden served me out of the water. Go ahead and buy frozen Chicken Tikka Marsala from Lidl just down the block and compare the flavor ITS NIGHT AND DAY! You better off serving Lidl's Chicken Tikka Marsala in your restaurant then whatever you served me.Go ahead and buy frozen Chicken Tikka Marsala from Trader Joe's ... DELICIOUS!!!There are no excuses. Have you not watched any of the failed restaurant shows? They all do they same thing ... server canned and frozen food. If you aren't going out of business yet and your debt is growing it might not be too late to serve real food. Fresh-made to order food, small menu, consistent execution. Thats your recipe for a successful restaurant. If you dont adjust NOW i hope that the places which will open after you go out of business makes better food.

Poor tasting. The naan was burnt. The sauce tasted like eating tomato paste right from the can. There was three tiny pieces of meat and pieces of potato mixed in. Not a pleasant experience.

First time here. I ordered the samosas. Salmon tandoori and chicken madras. And some desserts. Everything was excellent. I will definitely order from here again. Very traditional and tasty food.

We love Indian food & ordered from Clove Garden to give a new local business a try. Not only was the order perfect, but the food was excellent. They even added a desert for us to try, which was also really good. Happy to have you in Garwood!

This is the best Tandoori Chicken I've had in ages! The naan is good, too. I will try samosas next time and Chicken Tika Masala. I'm excited to have this Indian restaurant so close to home. The service is excellent and the woman who takes the orders is friendly and delightful. I only have one suggestion: make the Raita thinner; it's too thick. Thank you!

I always order from here for takeout- super delicious. Very generous portions and great selection of vegan and vegetarian options. Dining area is a little small and casual, great for lunch.

Worse Indian food I had in a long time.Don’t know what butter chicken is. Chicken 65 was not edible and chewy. Bread 1/10.Seems other reviews are paid or managed.

We loved, loved, loved the sauce. However, the chicken was just too dry. Also, what we had was NOT Kheer. It was just rice in tumeric liquid, yuck! We grew up in NY and really missed the authentic Kheer. I'll just have to make it myself from internet recipes.
