“It's been a long time since I've been to Sapori and definitely regretting not coming back sooner. The food was outstanding, from the bread and olive oil, to the fresh calamari, main, and dessert. “Yesterday was my first time at Mare Monte and I have to say I was very impressed. My family chose this place for our Easter dinner. From start to finish, it was amazing! Our server, Mindy, was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the food. She even made my great-aunt laugh which is tough to do! I had the Pappardelle Cavatore pasta and the homemade cheesecake. The chicken parm is tasty. I love the seeded rolls, takes it up a level. This is a 15 min drive from my house and will make the trip for the delicious cheesesteak . Called the order in route and everything was ready when I got there. Pricing was good. Sandwiches big enough to share.“

“Just like Nona’s kitchen. The Scipelle soup is incredibly delicious. Perfect. This menu item, which is a very rare find, is a cherished dish here and Fiene’s rendition is the definitive preparation. I’ve been coming here for years to reconnect with my family roots through this soup and the recipe has not changed.You will not find better. Period.A major hit menu item was the Zuppa Inglese. This is not an Italian specialty dessert many may recognize. I’ve NEVER seen this on a menu before and I’m so glad I spotted it on the Holiday menu. Zuppa Inglese is an Italian Trifle dessert, similar in assembly to Tiramisu (which is also a menu star here). I hadn’t had this dish since the family holiday dinners of my youth. Curious how this found its way onto the menu I was informed that a matriarchal family member made this to order in advance at a the request of a good customer. Time consuming to prepare several of these were made and I was the beneficiary of a most wonderful accommodation.The folks at Fiene’s are family. They are “family” to the restaurant and to their guests as everyone here takes an ownership attitude. You will eat well. “I was surprised, being there for the first time for dinner, that Tuscan Bistro had lobster bisque soup and bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer, my two favorites. I asked if it was regularly on the menu, and was told no, but the ingredients for the bacon wrapped scallops are always on the menu, so it could be made to order. My husband had the staple, Chicken Parmesan, which he said was very good and tender. We will definitely be going back for dinner, and not only for lunch. Service was excellent, prices were comparable, and meals were delicious.“

“We recently moved to the williamstown area and had a hard time finding a pizza place until we came across Tuscan Pizza. They are fantastic and amazing customer service. We asked for paper plates the one time, the driver left without them but received a call from Tuscan apologized for this and said they sent another driver by to deliver the plates. They literally arrived minutes late almost the exact same time as the pizza. This is just a small sample of their service. Top notch and amazing pizza!“

My favorite meal has been osso buco. I also like the different chicken or veal options over a choice of pasta service with soup or salad. I always get the soup. Their minestrone is very good. My meals have been usually good to great with the exception of my last visit when I got Chicken Maximo serve with old ruddy small asparagus pieces and a watery tomatoe based sauce. I will skip that in the future.“

The sauce has the right amount of sweetness and not acidic like most. The cheese is just the right amount, not too much and definitely not too little with that good quality stringy texture to. It has that nice coating of reddish orange grease on top that we all hate to love. The crust is perfectly thin where the slice flops down making a perfect fold. “Wonderful is an understatement. I had my husband‘s 70th birthday celebration here yesterday we had over 50 people there was more than enough room. The employees were...well...working...so no warm greeting.Since the place was recommended by a few folks, I ordered a Tonno Tuna sandwhich. It contained VERY little tuna. For $10.95 I guess I was expecting at least half a can of tuna on it.I guess WaWa and Gaetano 's have my expectations too high ?.
