“I recently attended a Glen Rock Chamber meeting at Sweetberry Bowls. I loved the atmosphere right away. Before the meeting began I ordered a smoothy, the Strawnana - a mixture of strawberry, banana and coconut milk. It was delicious! During the meeting we got to hear how the owners place a high emphasis on their menu choices being made with natural ingredients with no added sugars. There are lots of healthy choices. I can't wait to go back and taste one of their bowls. This is definitely a place worth checking out.“

“My husband and I had just landed from a red- eyed flight from California and "yelped" best breakfast sandwiches. DB Breakfast was at the top of the list, so we had our Uber take us directly there. Not realizing they were not due to open for another 35 minutes; we stood outside in the pitch black deciding what to do next. All of a sudden the door opened and the sweetest lady welcomed us in. She was so kind and prepared coffee for us and took our order. This would never had happened in California. My husband ordered the Taylor Ham sandwich and loved it. First time we had every heard of Taylor ham. I order the bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was top notch.Thank you Vivian for the warm hospitality. “I worked with Ma’s Tea House for a corporate event. Initially we wanted them to come on site at our NYC office location at make fresh bubble tea as people came into the office, which they do offer, but the building had a lot of specific requests which made it difficult to coordinate. We ended up deciding to switch to a delivery of 100 bubble teas in the morning for my event that same afternoon. From start to finish, they were very easy to work with and responsive. I stopped by the shop and Justin worked with me to decide on what would be best for delivery and what flavors would be good options. I even requested they add my company’s stickers to the cups along with their own and they did. Delivery was a little tough (but that was due to the location of the office in midtown, police officers not allowing vehicles to stop, etc.) but we eventually found each other for delivery and they helped bring the bubble teas into the building within the delivery time discussed.As for the bubble teas during the event, we decided on 50 white peach rose with strawberry popping boba and 50 passion fruit with mango popping boba. They were a HUGE hit and mostly gone within the hour from the start of the event which we didn’t expect. We were anticipating some leftovers by the end of the day, but in the end, there were none.Pricing was reasonable and comparable to other quotes that we received. Brian was great to work with. We would look to work with them again in the future!“

“I did a Google search for a coffee shop and came upon this small, unique shop. I ordered a latte and it was very good. It’s a very small set up with a huge mission. It’s a non-profit to help people with disabilities to have a place to work. What a great cause! I didn’t get any food but the options looked quite yummy.Parking: Very little parking on the street. There is a lot behind the building which had quite a few empty spaces. Have to walk around the building to get to the storefront but not difficult or long walk.“

“I order coffee for my mom and I here on the weekends and we absolutely love it! Their signature flavors as well as seasonal are all lovely. My mom and I sip it outside while decorating for the holidays together and it is such a yummy treat. Customer service was impeccable, they had their doordash turned off for an event, so I called to inquire and even though it was so busy and hectic, the guy on the other side of the line was so polite and said he would turn it on soon. “Great gelato flavors, great ice-cream and Italian ice. Classic flavors. However; I’m specifically here to rave about the cream puffs. They make the best cream puffs I have ever tasted. The fillings are absolutely amazing, fluffy. They are light and refreshing; and addicting. Highly recommend the pistachio flavor. I constantly crave these cream puffs, I go out of my way to get them, and send other people to get them for me. Great service as well, always very welcoming.“

“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

“Finally…authentic, delicious Dominican food that I don’t have to go into NYC to order. My gathering was such a hit , catering was the best! The pictures won’t do this place justice. “On Bloomfield Ave there's a tiny coffee house in a small house. This little place takes coffee seriously. They have seasonal coffee offerings, pastries, soft drinks and a few small bistro tables inside and lots of dog parents sipping coffee outside with their pups. I was fortunate to grab a table inside. I got a cold brew and it was very good; grassy and bright tasting. Clearly the place values coffee. Be forewarned, Jola is pretty a pretty busy place. They have about 4 parking spots in the back (all taken) and there's a shopping complex next door. I parked in the shopping complex because there wasn't a sign warning coffee customers not to park there. If you're looking for a Starbucks alternative in Caldwell, this is the place. You can order ahead.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“Go here for amazing homemade ice-cream, Italian ice and soft serve! I love the fall favs and apple pie is to die for! It tastes like cinnamon ice-cream with little chunks of apple pie filling. I really love it! THERE ARE SO MANY FLAVORS!!! They carry pumpkin, banana and coconut seasonally which are my favs and sometimes hard to find. They even have Pineapple Dole Whip for all you fans that want to Pretend you are in a tropical island instead of the concrete jersey Jungle. The lines are long but they are quick to serve if the people in front can decide in time. They have little picnic benches on the front and side and sometimes the parking is tight but just park next door if it's after hours. Glad this gem is close to home.
