Given the fact that they don’t have seamless or door dash I thought that meant the food would be good (so good, people are willing to drive and pick it up). It was probably the worst pizza I’ve had in Bergen county. Terribly bland, and the pizza crust was like cardboard. I can’t believe I left the house for this place when there are cheaper and way better options that deliver.

I feel like I was bamboozled. Main message is don't be tricked by Turvino's good rating like I was, the food is garbage. At the time of writing this review, Turvino's Pizzeria & Restaurant has 4.5 stars and over 200 reviews. So I decided to give the place a shot. Here's my order: 1) Buffalo Wings Small (6 Wings) 8.95 2) Mozzarella Sticks 8.55 3) Jalapeño Poppers 8.99 4) Fried Calamari 11.50 5) Chicken Tenders 9.50 6) Garlic Knots (6) 3.00 7) Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Pie 22.60 The best thing I have to say is that the Buffalo Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and Jalapeño Poppers were mediocre. The worst thing I have to say is that the Fried Calamari was absolutely disgusting. It was undercooked so it was soggy and spongy. It felt like I was eating wet cardboard. 0/10 Everything else was just different variations of ass. The Chicken Tenders looked like fish sticks and were extra sweaty. They tasted like McDonald's chicken nuggets except McDonald's nuggets at least have some crispy texture to them. The Garlic Knots had no garlic on them whatsoever, making me wonder if I was just served regular bread painted to look like garlic knots. The Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Pie was a solid 5/10. Not bad, but definitely not something I would be proud of. I'm not big on plain slices and maybe that's their saving grace, God knows it isn't the calamari, but from what I ordered, I have to say this place is overpriced garbage and a realistic rating for it would be a 2/5. If you aren't from Glen Rock, I would suggest not driving out of your way to come here. Heck even if you are from Glen Rock, I'd say go somewhere else. If you're specifically looking for a decent Chicken, Bacon & Ranch Slice in the area, go to Biagio's in Fair Lawn. Turvino's may have fooled me with its stars, but I hope this review won't let it deceive you.

The best pizza I have had 3 times in a row. Usually a place has good crust or good sauce or just the right amount of cheese. This place has all 3 going for it. I purchased 3 pies for 7 guys on a construction site and all 7 of us LOVED the pizza, one plain, one pepperoni and one Broccoli. So glad they returned to the quality I remembered when I used to get white garlic pizza with eggplant as a reward for hard workTheir marsala is tasty and filling, better than many marsala I have had, their pastas are tasty.Eggplant Parm used to be tasty and far better than some of the sandwich shops in town.Family friendly, student friendly.Best to enjoy their food is to remember not to come here looking for high end pretentious food come here for classic Italian American fare.I used to get food here all the time but my diet took away eggplant and tomatoes but even though I can't enjoy it anymore I recommend it. It was a staple in my teen years Friday eggplant Parm.

I live 2 minutes away from this place and never bothered to try it til last year, and omg they make the most delicious pizza. The sauce, the cheese, and the crust are just amazing! This place also has respectful staff, the service is awesome, as well as their prices. Turvino's Pizzeria is the best place to buy pizza and other foods.

Enjoy chicken marsala. Not able to say ambiance because the last time I went in to pick up food was years ago but everytime I am visiting home we get the marsala chicken and it is always lovely and comforting and tasty. service was good.

Recently took out 2 pizzas, one plain, one vegetable. Soooo delicious! I love their sauce and I am particular about meatballs. Turvino's food is consistently really good, and their timing for pick up is perfect!

I haven't found a pizza parlor anywhere nearby that has the same consistent quality and flavor.The other 2%, I have ordered the stuffed shells, mozzarella sticks and wings and they have always been solid as well.It is a shame that the inside is now closed after the lock down, but as long as Turvino's is open for business, there is no loss to be found.
