Cash only is a pain. We would go more often, but I never have cash on me any longer. If a bar is cash only there should be a low or now fee ATM available not one that charges $4.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years. Lobster tonight was dry and overcooked. Not the first time either. Stella beer was bitter. Last time I was here the steak was tough. Had to get up twice and go find the waitress. The cracker was broken for my lobster. Not coming back! Not worth it! The place has really continued to go down hill.

The staff was very friendly, the servings are large and very well priced. Large open space dinning area. Does have a bar area and some table seating in the bar area. Outdoor seating is very nice overlook farmland and mountain ranges.

Four friends had lunch today. We got there right at opening. There was only one server, tending bar and waiting on tables. She was excellent! Our drinks and our food came in a timely manner. Her attitude was friendly and professional. Our food was very good, with great portions.

Dinner at Pub 517 in Tranquility, N.J. (sounds like a fictitious name from a Twilight Zone episode) with long time friends. Cool, comfortable, rustic, vibrant, neighborhood type of bar/restaurant with a sports theme vibe. A lot of similarities to Pub 199 in Mt. Arlington, including the 2 dozen clams that I can never pass up. Food was very good, with generous sized portions, and service was friendly and prompt. In addition to the usual bar fare Pub 517 also offers a nice selection of steaks and/or seafood that should satisfy any appetite. Nice stop if you're in the area. 01/13/2024

We just left this establishment and I can guarantee that we will not be going back. I ordered French onion soup, very bland, the only flavor was from the cheese . Then they brought out our cheesesteaks, which consisted of large chunks of dried out beef ( I’m assuming it was beef) with a couple slices of cheese underneath the meat , the cheese was still in slices, not even melted or mixed in with the meat. And as I mentioned earlier, dried out and inedible meat. I know good food and that wasn’t it !

Lobster, lobster bisque, and clams were really good. Market price for lobster with baked potato and clams $50.95. Like everything else, prices are not the same. I didn’t like the fact that the beer came in a cheap plastic jar, where are those old pitchers that would keep my beer cold? Also, were are those disposable hand cleaners provided after meal? Still I gave you 5 stars because the food was excellent.

Such a fun, delicious meal. Hanna, our server was great. Steak (ribeye) was just right and scrumptious. Wife loved her chicken parm. Cocktail were to die for( get a chocolate cherry cordial martini). Great atmosphere- really done up for the holidays.
