We have lived in Hackensack for over 35 years. We somehow missed this gem of a restaurant until recently. It's a small storefront on Main St and easy to miss. Someone mentioned it to us and we gave it a try. We did delivery and gave our credit card over the phone. Eddy, the gentleman who answered the phone couldn't have been nicer. He was funny and actually liked to talk. We first ordered a pepperoni pie and the real steak, steak sandwiches. Food came fast and hot. The pizza was excellent. Very much like the best NYC pizzas. Crust was excellent, nice crunchy, yeasty taste. A little singed around the edges but good. Great sauce and cheese and generous pepperoni. The steak sandwich was just plain incredible. Fresh sliced steak, portabello mushrooms, sautéed onions and American cheese and a hint of horseradish. It just melts in your mouth. Best we ever had. We ordered the "Midnight Toker" combo at another time. This is a great combo of fried mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, pepper poppers, fried onion rings and chicken fingers. Excellent. They are open after 4 PM until 4 AM. While the menu names seem to cater to the folks with the munchies, the food is really superb. We have never been disappointed. Not cheap. Prices are a bit high but well worth it. No corners cut on quality. Nice selection of Steak, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, pasta and killer milk shakes. All I can say is I can't believe it took so long to find this place. If you are visiting the area or just need to find a place to eat "late night" here's the place to go.
