We’ve been searching for the authentic taste of Thai food all over and this is by far up to par.Padthai was on the spot, papaya salad trasported us back to Thailand and Bangkok platter reminded us of the street food of Bangkok. The ‘grandma’ was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended place.

Second time trying their food tonight.The first was a dine-in experience, food was OK, but we decided to give them another try five years later. However, we can’t say if the restaurant has been under the same management since.Tonight was our second attempt for an enjoyable meal. This time we ordered for take out . Food was prepared incorrectly, the spicy level in our dishes was out of this world!! Two of our dishes ended up being a level 8 spice even tho we requested a level 2/10. So the food was too spicy for us to handle.The squid pad see ew entree was saucy, but too fishy. The dish got fishier as I was eating it be it was getting cold over time, not delicious at all!Papaya salad was so flavorful, but too spicy. I suggest you to request a level 1 spiciness if you cannot any take too spice like myself.My husband’s level 2 spicy beef salad was too spicy for him and he couldn’t finish it, wasted.Veggie curry puffs come in a pair. Nice flaky shell, but missing curry flavor.Not sure if we will be giving them a third try after this experience.

This is seriously the best Thai restaurant I've been to outside of nyc. Everything about their food is amazing. First of all I am picky with meat especially at restaurants where the stir fry it because often times restaurants will use cheap cuts of chicken or overcook it so it's a weird texture. The chicken quality at Bangkok garden is so good. Due to me being sketched out by chicken at other restaurants I always order vegetarian but don't love that other places use a ton of filler vegetables aka peppers, onions, cabbage. The veggies at Bangkok garden are so good! They use broccoli which is so rare in Thai veggie dishes and mix it up with the perfect amount of carrots, peppers and peas. I ordered 7 dishes for take out and they packaged everything and gave a really good amount of food. I just wish they were closer to where I live but they are worth the 40 minute drive.

This is the first Thai place in Bergen county that I actually enjoyed eating at, which is saying a lot since I've tried so many duds around here I had honestly given up looking for anything decent. The food here is definitely up to snuff. The chicken skewers were good, the beef pad prik was flavorful and totally delicious and the tom yum noodles were divine. The latter was so good it was perfect on a cold rainy night. The tofu Tod appetizer was also nice and very well fried, not overly cooked like so many others places often seem to make it. The service here is also quite nice and everyone was very friendly. I also enjoyed how spacious the place is. Street parking wasn't hard to find close by as well. If you're into Thai food and just want to enjoy a nice meal with a refreshing glass of Thai iced tea, this is a great place to go.
