The owners Kate and Ellie like to hired people for a position and then making them doing different jobs like dishwasher and food prep and paying you the minimum, they don’t like their employees to sit to eat they don’t like when they take more than 2 minutes in the bathroom. They like to exploit people left and right. And let’s not forget they keep the food for 4/5 days and serve them to the public again.

A wonderful place to get away from the stress of the courts, an oasis if you will. The food is great, the drinks are cold, and Kate is a godsend. Love This Place.

I've been passing by Grand Lux for years but never stopped in... decided to go for brunch with my boyfriend this past weekend and it was excellent! I ordered the short rib Benedict and he got the regular eggs Benedict. Would love to come again for lunch/ dinner!

We are Cheesecake Factory people. Knowing it's the same company and suppose to be the higher level. We getting upset time after time. Every single time they have excuse with the bread and it ether doesn't come out at all or at the very end. Maybe we have bad luck but... we had hair in the door twice this year and the salad wasn't as fresh. Go to cheesecake. Best best best

It's a little pricey but the food is good. Service was amazing and it was a cool date night spot.

Grand Lux's menu is a book- a very long book that they have shortened in the past few years. The food is similar to their sister restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. Nothing on the menu is special or something you couldn't find anywhere else. However, the atmosphere is very fancy and upscale, so it feels like you're having an amazing dining experience. I've come for brunch, lunch and dinner, and none of the food I've tried has left an impact. On my most recent visit, I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken, which was not spicy. The mashed potatoes were the best part, and the vegetables it came with were bland. The nonalcoholic speciality drinks are huge, so if a child is ordering them, you may have to help them finish. I will give props to their dessert selection. Many of the desserts are prepared with advance order, and they're gigantic. The strawberry shortcake is my favorite. Reservations for weekends are a must because it gets very busy. Prices are steep because you're having an "upscale" dining experience, and service can be a hit or miss. If you want to come celebrate something, this is your place to do it.

Called and made a reservation for 8:30 and somehow was sat by 9:00. The host staff insisted it was my fault lol. Server was awesome, wish I got her name. We had calamari and shrimp tacos for appetizers and they were f*cking Ordered a couple of steaks for din din with the Mrs - our steaks were brought out at different times, I felt bad for eating with out her so we waited. My steak was once again, flames Her steak was trash - looked like cooked brains Still debating if I'd go back to this place. Shoutout to the server for holding it down.

Great dinner place for a quick bite or relaxing time. Had some tapas and a bottle of their reserved wine and it was great. The empanadas was good had a great taste and perfect bites, the mini tacos was just perfect size. You also need to try the chocolate chip cookies freshly baked, it taste so good. Nice place to hangout and watch some TV since they have a bar and you can also have dinner by the bar. Plenty of options with wine and cocktails, and their menu is pretty much a lot to choose from.

One of my favorite franchise's, I always start off with Poke Tacos. I enjoy a majority of the menu and we love to come for weekend brunch some of my favs are the baked rigatoni, Sunday night pasta.

Tables are a bit sticky, Banana/peanut butter shake is good, omelettes are good too. I use to sleep in the elevator a lot & I slept in the stairwell for a good amount of time & a vacant office for about a week.

This is my goto place when I'm shopping in Paramus. I love their fresh homemade pecan chocolate chip cookies. The make these fresh, so you will have to place your order for these before ordering your meal. I leave every time with a box or two. Great drink selection. The menu is so large I usually try to order something different every time I stopped in. The last dish I had was garlic shrimp pasta, and that was very good. I have tried their burgers and meat dishes before my "no meat" campaign, and they were all great. The vibe is nice, and the bar is lit with screens for entertainment. This place has a very elegant look and feel but, the pricing is affordable. The experience is usually great on average. It's a good place to stop in, and enjoy a meal with good company.

Our favorite place for a big group celebration. We once went in as a group of 30 for an early dinner at 5:30ish and they were able to accommodate us easily! I love the versatile menu as well! Mac and cheese is awesome for the kids and I love the GF pasta substitution for myself. My husband gets a burger and our relatives usually get chicken entrees. The dessert is amazing and the best part of dinner. The service is fantastic all the times that I've been there.

It was my first time eating at the Grand Lux Cafe and my experience was stupendous, especially with my waitress, Cielo. Her warm smile and patience with us was very memorable. I never knew of a restaurant that makes their food from scratch but my waitress kindly informed me that even the cocktails and salad dressings are made at the restaurant! I can't believe they have a bakery, too. I was overwhelmed at first by the amount of options on the menu but Cielo asked so so many questions about my preferences. I loved the spicy dish she helped me decide on (I forgot the name, though). I usually don't get that much attention at restaurants on a Saturday night. It was a great experience for me and my friends making a last-minute decision to dine at the Grand Lux Cafe after a movie at the AMC. We will definitely be back to order one of those bakery desserts from Cielo soon!
