After many years of excellent service, I was super offended by the way staff treated me today. I am usually there on business meetings and special occasions with family 1x per month. Ive been going to this location for over 13 years. Food has always been excellent and my go to is the hawaiian ribeye, but sadly I didnt get to try it. Why? Because the hostess and Sam(whom I assume is in charge) were disgusting towards my family. I was not properly greeted like I always do. Busy? Understandable. I was asked if I was getting takeout, which I politely replied I had a reservation and hostess was quick to whisper something in the other lady's ear. She then goes to get a manager. Why? Still unsure! My cousin travelled a long distance to come see me and have a nice dinner with wife and kids. The hostess was quick to judge and I gave the benefit of the doubt if was not a racial profile situation. Sam I., continuously kept talking down on my cousin and I became very upset. He said there was no space for us and we could not be seated. I observed the dining floor and there was a number of tables empty for us to sit. He denied service to us and I told my cousin he can try somewhere else. My cousin insisted on having the hawaiian ribeye and asked me for takeout instead. SAM IMMEDIATELY jumps in and says "NOT FOR YOU, YOU CANNOT ORDER TAKEOUT". Was it because we were hispanic? Really....thats petty and I have NEVER felt so offended by someone using that card on one of my own. I was professional the whole way and stated that he just lost my continuous business, he said he wasnt worried. I rarely EVER put a review for a location. But always recommend if its amazing amongst family, friends, and business partners. Here? They lost me as a business, a friend, and much more. It became clear to me that it was a racial issue and I cannot support a business that allows this kind of behavior and directly speak to any customer this way. Food is outstanding! Service is excellent and friendly! They do everything well. It is an upscale but cozy restaurant that is very clean which says a lot nowadays. There is a nice family oriented atmosphere and the quality of everything is consistent.

Visited Houston’s Restaurant with my family of five, only to be strictly separated due to a new 4-person per table policy on weekends. Manager Luke was unyielding, even when presented with sensible seating adjustments. Despite understanding their policy, the inflexible approach and lack of effort to accommodate us made our experience unwelcoming. It was disheartening to see policy prioritized over customer service in a setting where warmth and hospitality should prevail.

Service was terrible, waitress was pretty much rushing us and supposedly good ribs was sour. Ambiance makes you think it’s a good classy steakhouse, but that’s about it. I had ribs here when they first opened years back and it was good, but no more good ribs.

Bustling place but absolutely delicious! My waitress Ellie was beyond sweet and very attentive. I absolutely loved how she kept switching out my martini glass for a cold one!! It really made the experience top notch! Will definitely be back again!

They don't take reservations so be prepared for an absolute zoo when you get there. You have to wait well over an hour for a table or even a bar seat. I thought it was pretty bad so I went to another restaurant.

Great place to eat ... Posted some items ... Totally Dropped the ball with the steak pics I had the daily special 14 oz Strip Steak and it wasnt a traditional strip (Mad at my self I didnt get a pic) So Delicious!!The staff works well as a team and we had a great Sever her name is Felicia Nothing But Amazing... LOVE IT THERE ?Parking: It's in the Riverside Mall

I use to go to this place maybe twice week not anymore after last night we waited 1,5 hour at the bar and the bartender keep telling us your next you next and keep seating other ppl so I decided yo leave , by the time we were waited we had ordered 1 round that was from beginning so with all this wait i forget we step out than 3 min later I remembered that we did not pay our round will in going i had phone call from someone to come back and pay we enter the restaurant and it was some ( though). Guy never knew that houston have a bouncer ) name Sam cannot be a manger or any responsible person because the way he talk to ppl with no respect cannot be , this guy have the guts to take on the side and treating me that if j do this one more time he us going to treat me differently waw waw me at this place after going to almost 9 years every week i was really shocked how this guy tald i still not sure what hes position is with hes white chef coat never seen someone talk to a costumer i. Hospitality like that in all my experience

Great food, terrible ladies working the night shift at the check in booth. These ladies have targeted me not once but twice which is why I feel leaving a review is very necessary. I have reached out to the GM Todd Martin to escalate this matter as the manager during that shift seemed incopotent & brushed the whole situation off. Danielle with the blonde hair was one of them & her sidekick with glasses and black hair.Parking: PARKING LOT AVAILABLE
