I ordered penne ala vodka and as I started to eat my meal I had a sharp pain in my mouth. I pulled out something resembling a shard of glass. As I closely inspected the pasta, I found MANY sharp shards of something resembling glass. I called the pizzeria and was told “it can’t be glass, maybe plastic, could be plastic”. I’m baffled by the guys confirmation that it was plastic and stunned that he was not surprised at all. How do you know your food probably contains shards of plastic and still serve it.My mouth hurts, my tongue is scraped as well as the roof of my mouth. This is super dangerous and not acceptable in the food industry. This place has absolutely no standards. And the quality of their food was very bad to begin with.I tried to call them back for instructions on how to get my refund and they ignored my calls. I had to walk over and go meet them face to face to resolve the issue.They didn’t care that they served dangerous food and they didn’t even have the courtesy to pick up the phone. If you are lucky to get a safe meal, it won’t even be worth your money. Save your time, call Napoli Pizza in Hackensack.

place deserves ZERO STARS. Found "GLASS" in my penne allá vodka. I called the place so they are aware of the situation! The RUDE CARELESS pizza guys casually tells me that it can't be glass it's plastic (like this isn't the first time he has herd this). I tell him I would like a refund and to let the staff know so this doesn't happen to anyone else. He tells me I need to get a refund though the "slice app" that he can not help me and hangs up. I tried to call him back for assistance, and he did not pick up my call. (Little did I know, he decides he is closing before 8pm because "I have somewhere I have to be.") So I went to the pizzeria (which is a two second walk) to try and speak to someone, the place was already closed so I asked the guy who was leaving the parking lot if he works at the pizzeria and he tell me "yeah what's going on." I explain to him I am the person who called about the "plastic" in the food and I need some help. He tells me that he can not help me and I must complain through the app. I explained to him I am having trouble contacting someone that I did not use an app to place the order. I told him I need help now and I am not waiting on this. my mouth is cut from the plastic and I'm pissed off at the inconsiderate service. he tell me there is nothing he can do and he needs to be somewhere. I told him I am f****** pissed at this horrible service and I will be leaving a bad review! He tells me to f*** off and drives away! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON SHITTY FOOD AND SHITTY PEOPLE!!! EAT SOME PLACE ELSE!!!!

Place is an absolute dump. Walked in for lunch around noon and there was no sign of anyone working. After standing there for 5 minutes, a guy finally appeared and shouted from the back of the store "what do you want." Instead of saying what do you think I want walking into a pizza place, I asked if they were open for business (valid question considering the condition of the shop). He replied "yeah we're open, but I'm really busy and have a lot to do back here, so hurry up and tell me what you want." I thanked him for his hospitality and went elsewhere.

We were looking for a new pizza spot so we decided to try new house pizza for the first time tonight. We ordered a pizza with half cheese/half pepperoni, a veggie pizza with sausage, an order of hot wings, an order of bbq wings and an order of fries. The food arrived on time and was hot. The pizza was pretty good. However, the 2 stars is for their customer service. The sausage on the veggie pizza was just thrown on, it was very uneven. Some slices had no sausage at all, probably about 3 slices had none and about 2 had very very little sausage. Some pieces were loaded with sausage. The sausage was an additional cost so of course we wanted a refund because we couldn't enjoy it on every slice. My husband chatted with the delivery app rep who spoke to the store. They were adamant they put the sausage all over the pizza and didn't want to refund us the $2. They acted like we were trying to scam them for $2. If we were trying to scam them, we would have picked something more expensive than the sausage, like the wings. My husband went back and forth with this place (via the delivery app rep) for over 40 minutes. For $2. They wanted pics of the pizza so my husband sent the pics. After sending the pic of the half assed sausage pizza the restaurant finally refunded us. We won't order from them anymore not because of the sausage itself, we won't be ordering from them because of how difficult it was to be refunded $2. We paid for the entire pizza to have sausage, not only a few pieces. Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes the workers are rushed, we understand that. But when the customer calls you and lets you know that your workers didn't give what the customer paid for, just fix the issue. There are pizza places all over so new house isn't the only pizza place.

This might be the best kept secret in Bergen County. The pizza is excellent and it is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and courteous they provide great service.
Horrible customer service, limited menu even though on multiple websites they have a whole different menu, noone is working - owner is on the couch while the COOK takes your order and is overwhelmed also trying to cook. Manager was extremely rude as well. Tried to support a local business, but I don't trust them or their food any longer. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

Ordered from the restaurant over the weekend and I must say the food was very good. The portions were large enough for 2 days so it was more than filling. My husband and I ordered the chicken parmigiana and chicken with pasta and tje chicken marsala with a salad. While the marsala sauce was a tad heavy it was still good. This New House of Pizza has a customer in me.
