If you’re looking for authentic Salvadorian, food look no further, this place is a hidden gem with super friendly staff and delicious meals, prepared fresh, by genuine Salvadorian chefs, can’t find what you’re looking for on the menu just ask they’ll make it a true gem of a restaurant. Definitely recommend to bring family and friends, but come early because seating is limited.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open, seating area, easily accessible for wheelchairs

I have been a regular customer at this location, and it is disheartening to see a decline in the quality of the food. My most recent order left me quite dissatisfied for several reasons. First, the pupusa arrived without the sauce and cabbage that usually accompany it, unusual compared to my previous experiences and other places in New Jersey. The chicken soup was a big disappointment, overly greasy and, honestly, unpleasant. What made matters worse was finding a small pit in my pupusa, a potentially dangerous situation that should never happen. When I called to express my concerns, the response was far from satisfactory. It's discouraging when a restaurant seems indifferent to customer feedback.Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider ordering here again. I hope management takes these concerns seriously to maintain the quality that initially won me over as a customer.I've been a regular customer at this place, and it's disheartening to see a decline in the food quality. Called in on the phone ordered a Pupusas de Maíz de frijol y queso and a Baleada con todo de rez. They told me 20 minutes. A long waiting for something small but I gave them the benefit of doubt. Maybe they are busy. I then go to the place and can’t find it because the banner that is outside from the previous restaurant that was there before “Blaze Chicken” I am not greeted. I told them my name and that I was here to pick up my order. The big lady over the counter looked at me weird telling me they didn’t have an order. Then as she preparing a drink putting whip cream on top. She licks her fingers. And tells me oh yeah we have your order it be out in a bit. I decided to just leave the establishment because those finger licking she did while preparing a drink was so unsanitary. No thanks. I blocked their number. Will not be coming back.

Friendly neighborhood Salvadoran restaurant at a NEW LOCATION AT 451 PASSAIC ST serving authentic Salvadoran and other Hispanic specialties. There are now 8 tables and table service but you many people prefer to order their food as take out.Portions are generous, especially the soups, which can easily feed two people or be a filling meal for one. Meals are tasty and service is friendly. Most customers appear to come for take out orders.
