The food was good, but the service was extremely slow. There were only three tables with people and it still took forever for the food to come out and the server to come to the table for refills.

Had a great dinner experience and our waiter, Chris (Christian) was excellent! Made the dinner experience a very enjoyable time. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even went to ask the chef about ingredients that were in our food! Everything was fabulous. Will come back again and again.

I took my wife here on a date night since we are eating healthier these days. Made a reservation and we sat right away. The waiter was friendly. Everything went down hill from here. Could not get anyone to come and talk to us. We waited a very long time to be served. My wife order was wrong, they left out the side of veggies. They took her plate, which I thought was odd. I ate my entire meal before they brought ,y wife's dinner back. They did say they were sorry and did not charge us for her meal. Maybe lunch time is better? I will not be going back.

My Lady friend and I returned to this restaurant, on the anniversary of our 1st date. That date was also, at True Food Kitchen-Hackensack. I made a point, to arrive first. That was to see if we could get the same booth we had, on our 1st date. Graciously greeted by “Taylor,” he took me to a reserved table. How thrilled I was, to see it was our 1st date booth! ? My Lady arrived a few moments later. Taylor indicated our booth to her. When she saw me standing there, our eyes locked. We embraced, shared a tender kiss then sat down for our meal. Our server was “Ricky.” He welcomed us and acknowledged our special anniversary. Ricky handled our order in a courteous manner. He was attentive, without hovering. While our food was prepared, we enjoyed the ambiance of the setting. The high ceilings and wood paneling are visually appealing. Plus, lend themselves to a relaxed quiet setting and easy conversation. The green accent plants and foliage throughout, gives a feel of being close to Nature. Our food was prepared, by skilled staff in the restaurant's “open kitchen” design. The meals were nicely presented: The hot foods were hot and the cold foods were cold. Everything we ordered was very tasty, prepared with skill and care. Before leaving, I spoke with the managers on site: “Alicia (sp?)” and “Chad.” I let them know what a delightful experience we had, dining at True Food Kitchen again. I commended them on their efforts and those of their Team! If you're ever in the area of True Food Kitchen, I recommend you stop in for a meal. I think you'll be glad you did!

My second time eating at True Food Kitchen and it won't be my last. I love being able to eat healthy, well prepared food that accommodates my dietary needs. Servers are very attentive as well. You won't go wrong eating here!

The food is amazing, they have such a good menu with so many different gluten free and vegan options! They have juices, teas, salads, pizzas, and more. I got the burrito bowl and it was delicious. The dried cashews were crunchy and airy, the beans and sauce was perfect, the red onion was the perfect touch. Their carrot cake is also amazing, it’s served with grass fed milk ice cream? However, the service was not good. Our food and drinks took a very long time to come out, we waited over 20 minutes for our carrot cake and ice cream. For a party of 6 we were in there for 3 hours just for ordering entrees and two deserts.Dietary restrictions: Offer many foods that are gluten free, dairy free, and veganWheelchair accessibility: There are handicap doors to the mall entrance which lead to the doors for the restaurant.

My first time here on a Saturday night. Staff was great and friendly. Even the music was a vibe. Everything else was mediocre. Food orders were not on point. It got to a point that it was somewhat comical. I brought a friend who was visiting from out of town and let's just say I had to apologize a few times for selecting this spot.

True Food Kitchen never disappoints. Everything was Amazing! Our server, Justin, was incredible...super attentive, friendly, well-versed in the menu items. I just can't say enough! You Have to go check out this place. They, literally, have stuff for Everyone...vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and meat eaters.

Can't go wrong here. Aside from healthy, well prepared food, I am pleased that they honored my request for a booth distanced from other patrons. The uptick in Covid infections has limited my ability to eat out, so this way a nice treat. Thank you!

I have been here a few times and I am never dissapointed. The food is excellent soups, pizza, burgers, and the Hawaiian Rice are delicious. The also have great drinks and Mocktails :)
The service was absolutely horrible. They were four of us dining three ordered appetizers, and they thought it would be a good idea to bring out the main course for the person not having an appetizer.  That person asked them to take back their main course and bring it with everybody else's. They said they would make a fresh one. Then the three people that had appetizers receive their main course. The fourth person was waiting, and when theirs came back. It was clearly the one they had brought out 20 minutes earlier. The food was cold. Not appealing at all.  The waiter never came back over to ask us how our food was if we needed anything. I would never return to this restaurant.

I always love going here. The food is so flavorful and the staff so knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered a veg bowl with tempeh. I told our server I'd tried tempeh once before (elsewhere) and didn't like it but wanted to give it another chance. Turns out even TFK can't help me like tempeh. The server asked what I thought. I was honest- it's not for me- but was super clear it was no trouble at all- everything else was amazing. He brought our table a free dessert. Totally unnecessary! Totally delicious. That entire experience is why I keep going back so much.
