That said, I've been to all the local Chinese restaurants in the Long Valley/Hackettstown areas; except for Little Tokyo on Mountain Ave., Hackettstown, and I would consider myself a great judge of good food especially Chinese and Italian.Parking: The parking lot is part of the strip mall that has retailers; including Shop-Rite, Chinese restaurant, pizzeria, and dollar store of some sort.

The meals have been consistent here in my many years. Whenever I call in my order and ask for special changes, there is never been any issue. Which is especially helpful for my senior citizen aged Mother's dietary needs and her specific requests. I will forever support this shop!

We’ve moved out of town but this is still our favorite Chinese place! We were back in town the other day and ordered from here and the food was just as we remembered. Great portion sizes, fresh food, fair prices—what more could anyone want!? Also, the general Tso’s tofu is awesome!

I was eating my shrimp Mei fun, and the food that was on the top looked fine I get towards the end, and I find moldy shrimp, eggs, and some noodles. I will never return.

I’m so sad with how China Garden has been lately, as a regular. I noticed over the past few months that they’ve started to skimp on food. Which, I understood due to inflation- would’ve preferred if they started to charge a few extra bucks instead, but whatever. So, I started to stop going weekly, and went last night after a few months. I was a little surprised at how many shrimp there were this time, but they were all pure white (usually they’re bright pink) they smelt fine, but tasted VERY off. Now this morning I definitely have food poisoning as I can’t even keep water down without getting sick. I understand things happen, but it’s just carelessness at this point.Please get back into how you were before. You were the best Chinese food in town, and I live several towns over. Meaning I drive 40 minutes specifically for your food, passing several Chinese places including the others in town. I used to order $30-40 every week, and was happy to do so, now it’s going to go elsewhere. I hope eventually you go back to your old cooking habits.

Atmosphere is irrelevant, it's take-out only. Lunch specials are a good deal, for around $8 you get an entree, white or fried rice, and soup or a can of soda. Food is great. My favorite is the L18 General Tso's chicken lunch special.
