The amount is too small, the beef skewers are tasteless, the chicken wings are tasteless, and the ribs are tasteless and not sweet. Just the Shanghai rolls and the toast are OK.

It saddens me to write this review but I've been going to Hong Kong Palace for 25 years and no matter where I was in the country I would always compare every Chinese place to Hong Kong Palace. It was the gold standard for Chinese food until it was sold 2 years ago and now has new owners. I spent $70 yesterday on take out as I've been telling my girlfriend about this place for a while.....Well I definitely wasted my money as the food was terrible and the containers were only just over half way full!!!The egg rolls are laughable at best. They used to be the best egg rolls you could buy and they were big. Now they are the tiny pre frozen ones from Walmart. The wonton soup is the only thing that still tastes even remotely like the old place. The spare ribs had no flavor. This used to be my #1 favorite thing bit the new place does not know how to make good ribs.I have bragged about how good this place was for the past 25 years and now it's no better than a backwoods takeout place. It was honestly a slap in the face when I opened my beef with scallions and it was half way full.

Best Chinese ever! Super clean place, cordial staff, nice music, and the food looks soooo good, nice portions. The fried pork rice was the best I ever had, hands down! So well seasoned, so tasty ?

Just wanted to thank Hong Kong Palace for a wonderful dinner and Birthday celebration for my son, Tyler. The food was outstanding, the prices were reasonable, portions were good, and the staff were amazing. They played happy birthday over the stereo system. It was a beautiful night. In addition, they have Thai food, Sushi, Japanese Hibachi food. It was a great.Thank you Hong Kong Palace.Vegetarian options: I do know that they have Tofu dishes and a huge menu. Also, it is buy 2 sushi rolls, get one free.Parking: No problems with the parking. We went at 6:30, but there is ample parking all the time there. I have been before, but this was a birthday dinner, and Hong Kong Palace made it so special.

I’m from Delaware. I was visiting my daughter for Christmas and on the way back home to the Airbnb. I decided to stop there to get something to eat so I got house fried rice. I had to write this review because I have not had Fried rice made like that it is supposed to be in years. Probably since I made it the last time with all the vegetables like it’s supposed to happen in it and actually having enough meat in there that you actually feel like you’re eating something besides rice! I just wanna say it was delicious. I enjoyed every little bite of it and I will recommend, you guys to anybody. I went in and I thought the atmosphere was very nice. The Staff was courteous very helpful. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve even heard my daughter say that she’s actually at there, but I will recommend it to her too. And I didn’t expect what I got, which was even better. Just want to say thank you again, and it was delicious. Very very pleased.?

I came with a group of four people and ordered one of their family meals. For $80 we received four egg rolls, four soups, four entrees, four rices, four entrees, and four ice creams plus unlimited hot tea and those crispy strips. It was very good food and service was quick. I am looking forward to returning.

Just picked up a take out order and I was disappointed. The egg roll was virtually only wrap. Shrimp toast was over fried. Remainder of order was yummy. My complaint is that all containers were sparse. The pork lomein and shrimp and broccoli were not full to size and each of the soups I ordered had more than and inch empty at top. I would always pick this up for my parents so I know their portions are significantly smaller.

I've been here a few years ago and wanted to try it again. Love the fact that it was a dine in environment. We were completely satisfied. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Fried noodles a but stale but everything else was amazing. Reminds me of an old school spot I grew up with in The Bronx. The taste was somewhat familiar..authentic. It's one of the best Chinese restaurants we've been to in the Hackettstown/ Budd Lake area! Definitely will return.Parking: Parking in front
