The food is amazing! Authentic and delicious. The best frozen margarita I've had. The place is nicely decorated. It wasnt over the top. The bartender who served us was super nice. When we left every staff member out said bye. Just a very warm and pleasant experience. The prices are on point. We live in PA about 30 minutes away and it's worth coming back, which we will!

First time. Shout out to our server Nicholas who made good recommendations: taquitos CARNE ENCHILADA and Sopa de Tortilla. They have lots of happy hour specials throughout the week. Water is filtered! We really appreciate that restaurant is not adding an extra charge to use credit card and that suggested tip amounts are NOT calculated post sales tax as they shouldn't be. No military discount though ?

While the inside may seem as if the place is nothing special, the food here never disappoints. The quesadillas are never a let down and numerous items on the menu have been a hit for guests I have brought to this location.
First time at Maria Bonitas to celebrate my birthday with my two daughters and son-in-laws and two grandchildren. The food was good, fresh, and made to order. Our server, Jessica, was friendly and attentive.

Food was average, but have had much better for far less$$Was over charged for my order and when I brought this up with server/staff member they refused to deduct the $2 from my bill.Have been to many other Mexican restaurant's where chips and salsa are complimentary, since our order was taking longer than expected we asked if they could bring us more chips/salsa which they brought out right away(un-like our dinner) We later found that they charge for second serving of chips an salsa if I remember correctly it was $4.25? I don't mind just wish I was told they will charge for second order of chips.It appears they like to nickel and dime customers far too much.This will be the last time my family and I visit this establishment,If you are looking for great Tex-Mex restaurant there is a wonderful place in Iselin, NJ where they don't charge for chips/salsa and there is also no fee to use a credit card as there is at Maria Bonita.

This is the best Mexican food in Hackettstown, maybe even in all of warren county. I got the mole poblano and it was amazing! My boyfriend got the bistec and it was incredibly flavorful. 10/10
