My husband and I love going to this particular Panera as it is closer to our home. I would give it a 5 star if the place was kept cleaner, and they would do a better job getting the orders right.

I love Panera, and the food quality is consistent between the 2 locations I go to (M.O. and Mansfield). Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is that I find it pricey for what you get.

Place was busy 3 groups ahead of me to order and employee was moving muffins and washing the glass. I left. Couldn't wait for her to wait on

Food was slow and our ham egg and cheese bagels were over cooked and dry. Quite unpleasant but we had left and ate on the road. No time to return.Disappointed.

I never write reviews but I was so appalled at how filthy the restaurant was that I had to. Floors covered with garbage, trash everywhere, bathrooms a mess. I have patronized this Panera for years but this is my last visit. I am not a clean freak but I was completely grossed out by the mess. Sorry, Panera, bc I like your food—what’s going on?

This is a well run Panera with good parking available. No drive thru.

They weren’t able to customize my order how I wanted, however, when I went to the kiosk I could customize my order how I wanted… what’s up with that???

We used to come here somewhat regularly. The food was tasty and prices reasonable. A respectable four stars. Two recent visits were absolutely dreadful. The portions were drastically reduced and the prices were ridiculous for the quality and quantity of what was provided. I get the troubles caused by Covid and inflation. Everything is more expensive but most restaurants are able to maintain quality and provide some intrinsic value. This was not the case here. Expensive and underwhelming at best. We are no longer patrons. Amazing how quickly and completely management ruined a good concept.

Ordered sourdough bread sliced thick 2 loaves. In and out in less than 5 minutes.

Sadly I have to give my local Hackettstown Panera 1 star. The service and atmosphere are fine. However, whomever is preparing the breakfast food often leaves out the key ingredient. On a number of occasions (today being the 4th) I’ve ordered the beacon egg and cheese sandwich (simple right?) and I leave, get on the road or back home only to find there is no bacon. One time, I got home and no bacon again. Frustrated, I went back for them to correct it and I literally watched them open the wrapper, slap bacon on it and bring it back to me. I told them to make one fresh since the egg and cheese is cold at this point. Again, this morning against my better judgement, I went back and the same thing happened again. Got on the road, took a bite and no bacon. I ended up reordering from the Chester location, which was very good. They get 5 stars in all areas.

Honestly, super disappointed in the customer service here. I ordered a you pick 2 with broccoli cheddar soup and one of the new stacked chicken green goddess I. The guy who took my order definitely seemed new. He was going slow and I was repeating things for him. When I got the total, it was $44 for 2 people which seemed like a lot. But I didn’t say anything. Then when we got our door we saw why. He gave us full bowls of soup instead of the typical cup for the You Pick 2. But I still didn’t say anything. I figured it’s not a huge deal. And then I went to go eat my sandwich and realized there was no chicken on it. Since we spent so much on the food I figured I would at least politely ask them to fix it. I waited in a line of several people and kindly explained what was wrong when it was my turn. The guy (who got the order wrong in the first place) was going to take it and get me a new one until the manger (I believe her name is Julia) stopped him and told me to bring it to the pick up counter and just ask for a “cup of chicken.” I thought this was very rude especially as I had waited in line and honestly, getting me a new sandwich just would’ve been the nice thing to do. Instead I followed what they said, went to the pick up counter where another woman told me “oh you have to ask for the chicken one if you want chicken on this sandwich” to which I replied “I did.” Once again…very rude. Then she was like “well what do you want. I can heat you up some chicken if you want.” And I said “I guess that’s my option.” So she literally just heated me up a freaking cup of chicken instead of just making the sandwich correctly. I will definitely not be coming back here anytime soon.

This one’s a keeper. A wonderful atmosphere overall, much like Paneras used to be 10 years ago. Friendly service, “retiree corner” with veterans reminiscing over a cup of joe, fresh decor and clean tables, etc. Stop by if you ever find yourself in Hackettstown, you will not be disappointed!Parking: About 40 parking slots, never a problem to find a space.
